Very quiet and comfortable place to have a great sleep between adventures

Very very quiet location, great view, everything new and clean, good bathroom with strong water flow and most comfortable bed I had in Bali! Nice and helpful owner. Breakfast is simple, but it’s very nice to have it on the porch every morning. Just bring drinking water with you, it’s not provided. Don’t expect teapot or fridge - anyway it’s great value for money to rest from exploring the island. There are warungs and really good restaurants near by. Not far from crystal bay, and even closer there’s another nice beach with less people. I wish I could stay longer!

Perfect location

The location was amazing. It was quiet and private. The room was clean and the aircon was nice and cold. Wayan was very helpful with booking tours and organising drivers

The aircon was a little noisy. Water was not provided. Breakfast was not great.

Great view and comfortable bungalow

The view from the bungalow is great, although you cannot fully see the sunset. It won't disappoint! The bungalows are very spacious, clean and the bed is very big. AC works well. The bathroom is fine, not too modern but decent and clean. Breakfast was good - limited options, but with fresh papaya. Friendly staff.

Reaching the bungalows is quite a struggle. We rented a scooter (which makes it much easier to get across the island) and really had to brace when we drove up and down the road the first time. So manageable, but a challenge.

The view was incredible, very calm and quiet. We had a very good sleep The host was helpful and polite, suggesting what places we should visit

The booking post said there was tv on the room and there wasn't. The bathroom didn't have any ventilation, no windows or anything. The room was supposed to be sound proof. We put music at low volume and you could hear from outside almost as if the door was open. There was no fridge, or hot water to make your own coffee. No closet neither There was no lights from the reception to the room, we arrived at 9 pm and we had to use our phone lights to get to the room. We stayed in the last room, and wifi didn't work at all, you get disconnected every 3 minutes On my opinion, its not worth the money

A pleasant and hospitable stay for GREAT VALUE.

The owner, Wayan, is extremely kind, hospitable and concerned about you having a great stay. The rooms were very clean. The landscaping is absolutely beautiful and many birds sing you awake in the mornings. The view from the terrace is outstanding. The owner was very supportive in helping us find a great driver/tour guide during our stay: Komang. Wayan was excellent in provided a good and hot breakfast and variable times, as needed. This accommodation is in a beautiful location and GREAT VALUE for your money. It happens to be in proximity to the most luxurious resort on the island.

There was no TV in my room, yet it was advertised that there was. The rooms do not have refrigerators but Wayan did allow us to use the main refrigerator at the front, which was helpful. The location is great IF you are okay renting a scooter OR hiring a driver to take you to and from the property. The roads from the property to the nearest restaurants and shops don’t appear to be safe (very bumpy, uneven, and narrow) or convenient to walk on, especially at night due to limited lighting and general visibility. This is not a location where you can easily wander into town. The bathrooms could be a bit more appealing.

Great way to land in Nusa Penida!

Abian Selumbung is a quiet a peaceful location with an amazing view of the hills and the sea. There is a restaurant nearby and it’s close by scooter to several amazing west coast beaches.

It’s slightly remote and there is no bar or restaurant onsite.

Wayan is a great host. We had an amazing view. We enjoyed the sunsets. We spent 3 nights in this silent and peaceful place listening the birds singing which helped us relax, rest and gain the power back to continue our trip. Every morning, Wayan prepared great breakfast and served for us on the exact time we asked for. He even dealt with the laundry service. Everthing was very clean and neat. We loved our stay there

Relaxing and special. Stay here!

The owner of this property is a legend! We stupidly ran out of petrol one night, and he drove to get us some more, gave us early breakfasts when we went diving, and was happy every single day. The property is super clean, comfy and unbelievably quiet. Couldn't recommend it more. The view to wake up to is beautiful. Also, have dinner at Alam Selumbing warung. The food is the cheapest on the island and very good, and the owner and her family are some of the friendliest people you can meet. A dinner for two with a beer will cost you around IDR 100 (£5 GBP)

Everything. The surroundings are incredibly beautiful, the building itself and the rooms are very comfortable, tidy (and cleaned every day) and modern. The host prepares breakfast specifically for you every morning after discussing what you’d like to eat, further on, he is so helpful and friendly. He is definitely the best host we’ve ever had, thank you❤️

Nice and helpful staff, beautiful seaview, but not for everybody. Accommodation is in the countryside and there are not usual services as restaurants, shops, beach, .... We rent scooters and really enjoyed our Nusa Penida stay. Last kilometr of road is really bumpy. Recommendation: visit restaurant "Amok sunset", but make a reservation. Prices are higher then usual here.

Great views and wonderful host!

Great views from the property and a nice place to unwind and relax. The host, Wayan, was just wonderful. The hotel is a little further away from the main centre and we didn't have scooters (scootering on the dirt road to the hotel also not for the faint-hearted) so Wayan dropped us off to where we needed to go and helped us organise transport. He also helped us organise tours, ferry tickets, etc. He really went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you Wayan!

The Bungalows are very clean and comfortable. They are quiet and remote with a nice scenery. We had a great view to watch the sunset and could watch monkeys from our balcony. It is a great starting point to explore the west coast. Wayan was extremely friendly and helped us to get around the island and organized a snorkeling trip and the speedboat.

The breakfast is basic.

a quiet escape from busy Bali life

It was in a beautiful location looking out over the ocean, the host is so helpful and cannot be faulted anything you need he is happy to help and wants to ensure you have the best stay possible

The location is down a dirt road which is common for Nusa Penida but can be hard to scoot down. there was also a tv stated but there was not one in our room and the Wi-Fi is a little slow but I believe this is a problem for the island not just this hotel

I came to Nusa Penida to Spritual journey. I found this beautifull place with beautiful ocean view. New Bungalow very close to Gamat Bay. When i am back to Nusa Penida for sure I will be back again here. Thank's wayan look after us.
