Clean and comfortable, ideal as a base to explore from, would use again.

It was in a lovely location, just on the edge of Banchory town centre. Well appointed gardens and nice compact accommodation. The host, Dr Linda, was readily available for any queries/needs as she and her husband live in the same property, which is nicely split so you get total privacy. Ideally suited for a couple, the bed was lovely and comfortable, lovely and clean and suited our needs. From town there is a bus service that takes you to other towns and sights such as Balmoral, Aboyne and Braemar. In Braemar I would recommend “The Flying Stag” lovely food at reasonable prices.

The property was in good order, but going forward perhaps a slightly larger TV would be of benefit and a more powerful hairdryer !!!. It is great to use as a base and to have breakfast or snacks rather than full blown catering experience.

Very comfortable bed. Well equipped. Nice views. Good location for walking to town centre.

Parking was difficult on the drive of the property without blocking in the owners two cars. Felt uncomfortable hearing the owners just the other side of a thin door by the bed.

A super place to stay for a few days. Would stay here again.

Lovely little apartment. Comfy bed. Good Shower. Very handy with the street. Quiet at night. Very clean. Well equipped. A lovely garden to sit at the front where we met the owner's friendly dog.

Not easy to find the location. A little sign with the name of the apartment would have been handy. No oven only a microwave. Would need a tidy up outside.

Great studio style property in the heart of Banchory, the gateway to Royal Deeside

Great location and property for short / medium stay in Banchory. Property has modern decoration, is very well appointed with comfortable studio style accommodation and fully equipped kitchen and bathroom /shower facilities. Offers great alternative to a hotel stay. Will use the property again and would highly recommend to others.

The access to the door was made difficult with loose bricks ,tarpaulins and other materials partly blocking steps to door. Could be danger of fall due to this. I negotiated that safely but owner needs to ask neighbour to clean this up!

All the essential needs were covered. Decent quality furnishings & fittings. Unobtrusive & tolerant hosts.

Difficult to find fault but I think a courtesy light to the outside entrance & path would be helpful.

Enjoyed our stay very much, more so the writer who was brought up in the area

The size of the television was really too small! The rusted metal hinges which were protruding a bit at each side of the entrance gate could or should be removed. The grounds obviously take a lot of keeping and a fair amount of rubble lying around the outside of the building - if tidied and cleaned, could add to the attraction of the building.

It was immaculately clean, tastefully furnished and our surroundings were very private. We felt very comfortable and protected from the pandemic.

no freezer, Some building work going on, made access awkward. It would be better if guests could park by resr steps which are closer to the door.
