Fabulous host!

Very friendly welcome from Brenda! She made us feel as if we were at home. After a little misunderstanding about the beds, she very kindly offered us an additional room. Yummy cooked breakfast is made at request.

Excellent B&B located close to the Cairngorm Mountain area and the area east of Inverness.

The Cooperage was a B&B homestay. We were in an upstairs bedroom where it was quiet and shared a restroom with those upstairs, there was a downstairs bathroom if needed. Our host sat us down in the kitchen every morning and prepared our breakfast to order, we were quite satisfied with our food. The home was extra clean and nicely decorated. The location was central to the area of Scotland east of Inverness, there were lots of castles, passes, coast and lighthouses to visit. We had close access to the Cairngorm mountain area from there as well. Parking was supplied and the host let us keep a few things in her refrigerator.

There is nothing bad to say about this stay.

Staying at te Cooperage

Brenda was a lovely host who made a great Scottish Breakfast. She is very knowledgeable about the area and a pleasure to talk to. Lovely views over the hills behind.

Rooms are not with en-suite bathrooms, but it wasn’t a problem as we were the only ones staying.

Relaxing, central, rural homestay, Would visit again

The breakfast was delicious and generous. The venue was very central for visiting castles and other tourist activities. My room was south facing with a large window and a wonderful view. Everything was very clean, I had use of the kitchen and did some laundry which was much appreciated. Good parking. Brenda is lovely and very hospitable. The house and neighbourhood were quiet. The drives around the area are stunning. The bathroom had a lovely big bath with bath salts and a separate rain shower. I stayed for 2 weeks and it made an excellent base.

central, comfortable, super clean, a great base for exploring, friendly

This is my second review because I stayed for 10 days and extended my stay for a full 2 weeks! A great home with a wonderful host. Because I stayed so longer, Brenda was more like a flatmate!! I came from NZ and the Cooperage was a very central village to make trips in all directions of the Highlands to visit castles etc. The scenery driving to get to places was so spectacular, that I had to stop often to take photos! My room was large, a comfy bed, a delicious generous cooked breakfast and I was able to cook my dinner when I needed to. I enjoyed the bath with bathsalts provided on arrival home from a couple of cold windy walks around castle gardens. The rain shower is excellent too. Brenda provided lots of little extras just in case they were needed. I added a photo of a double rainbow from my window, and a shot of Balmoral Castle A great place to stay, thanks Brenda.

A very relaxing stay in a beautiful home.

We had a lovely stay at the Cooperage. Brenda our host was very friendly and invited us into her beautiful home. We had a continental breakfast on our first morning and a delicious cooked breakfast on the second morning

The facilities were comfortable, clean and well-presented. Breakfast was very good. There was plenty of choice and more than enough for us. Brenda was an excellent host - she could not have done anything more for us. She also gave us use of the fridge and freezer for our own food.

Absolutelly everything, the host was the most warm and attentive person. The whole place was impeccable, with all the amenities you could need and really comfortable. It is totally worth it even though it is a bit far away. Brenda, the host, makes you feel like a friend and makes your stay a great experience

Best choice if you're in this area.

Easy to find, tremendous welcome, super clean. By arrangement advised of late arrival and arranged dinner which was cooked fresh late in the evening. Nothing really Nothing was too much trouble. Bed was very comfortable and room well appointed with all you need includes usb power points, TV, kettle, etc. I cannot express how nice this stay was and cannot recommend it enough. Extremely good value had it been twice the price. Breakfast was whatever you wanted and cooked fresh to order.

A quiet location with a great host.

Location was surprisingly in a residential area, private house with an extra room. Place was clean and comfortable, shared bathroom but no other guests were present. Talkative host but she made a great breakfast!
