Dimitras Apartment

The apartment is situated very comfortably and close to the center of Athens, there is a great coffee place just on the other side of the street. The apartment is also very smartly planned and suits very well for a couple with 1 or 2 kids. The host was very freindly, replied quick and took into account our wish for a slightly earlier check-in.

The furniture is a bit worn out and there were only 2 knives and 3 forks in the apartment. Would be also great to have a dish washer.

Un super emplacement pour visiter Athènes, un beau quartier proche de toutes les commodités. Appartement calme, vaste, agréable, propre et doté de tout le nécessaire. Excellente réactivité de notre hôte pour les instructions et en cas de besoin. Une très bonne adresse pour un super séjour.

Located in the center of the triangle set by the Kolonaki bourgeoisie, Exarcheia radical left, and Ermou petite bourgeoisie, this cozy apartment is perfect for a short stay right in the heart of Athens.

It could use some renovation. Also, the kitchen would be a bit uncomfortable if a family needed to cook, however, given the short stay we had, all was good.

Other than being quiet there was nothing that stood out with this apartment. Decent sized fridge with a freezer plus a washing machine if you need it (we didn't). The hot water worked well, we didn't try the ac.

Cleaning regime was not great. There was a toothbrush on the floor under the bathroom sink, clearly visible from the door. There was an open drain in the bathroom covered by a small mat. The cups and glasses in the kitchen were grimy, and a lot of the crockery was chipped, the toothbrush mug was splattered with the previous occupant's toothpaste. There was a mass of hairs on the bed sheet. The kitchen tap was very loose and liable to come apart at any moment. There was socket hanging off the wall We couldn't use the balcony due to the voracious mosquitoes. There was a strong smell of damp/drains at the building entrance. No smoke detectors and no emergency instructions which were needed in our case as there was a major gas leak in the building. We were two people, but the maximum capacity of occupants would have been claustrophobic. Many of these issues on their own world have been bearable, but the accumulation of issues means we wouldn't use this apartment again.
