The location is perfect, windows facing inner garden so there is no noise from the streets. There is working heating, which is rare in Athens.
The fetid smell from the hallway came all the way to the apartment (it’s on the ground floor) and it was impossible to stay at the apartment unless the windows were open. No problem due the available heating, but otherwise a very unpleasant experience. Also the host wouldn’t let me check out a couple of hours later (they asked me to pay the half price of the night only to check out a couple of hours later - and there was no one checking in after me) which is very inhospitable and left a bad taste.
