Was very nice for our family of four! We arrived on a Friday and left on a Friday. Husband and I had our own bathroom and space and our adult children had their own! Bed in master was fabulous but beds in second bedroom were hard and could feel springs in them. Probably ok for younger kids but adult girls was not comfortable. View from balcony was fabulous! Ants became a problem around Monday evening when they showed up in the kitchen. There were already ant bait traps in the unit so they were aware. Over the next few days they showed up big time in master bath. At least they were small and not the big black ones that bite like we have in ND!! 🙂 overall pleasant stay and would recommend.

The property was clean, and the views and sounds of the ocean were amazing! The kitchen was well stocked with pots & pans, dishes, cooking utensils etc. The customer service from the management company across the street was excellent! It was easy to borrow beach gear from there for the week. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice relaxing beach get away. This was our first time to Solana Beach (we usually go to Mission or Pacific Beach) and this was so quiet, with no crowds, even on the weekend. That was wonderful! We will be back!

Overall, I was very impressed with this condo. It had the most beautiful ocean view, comfortable beds, nice living room with a TV. Most importantly, this area was safe. It's a gated community and keys are required to access the garages and pool areas. As a young woman who is travelling, this is extremely important to me. Additionally, I was so impressed with my ability to efficiently work remotely. The wifi on my laptop was perfect and allowed me to get work done. The neighborhood is so peaceful. Communication with Stubbs' rental property was great. They were so responsive and even provided me with extra materials when I needed them. They addressed all of my concerns in a timely manner, which I appreciate so much (i.e. wifi connection, ants). Cons: I was not satisfied with the dirty dishes upon entering the condo. In order to feel comfortable, I had to hand wash the dishes prior to using them. I was shocked when I picked up a piece of clothing, I had left on a shelf in the master bedroom closet and saw a swarm of ants crawling underneath it. Additionally, the wifi in the master bedroom was extremely slow. Every time I tried to use my phone in the condo, it would take a long time to load information. Lastly, the flimsy blinds in the living room (that open up to the ocean view) were flimsy and kept falling. It was an inconvenience opening these blinds. If these things were fixed, this place would be a fairyland.

The pictures on VRBO tell the whole story. The property is oceanfront with an unobstructed view of the ocean. My wife and I appreciated the spaciousness of the property. Before we arrived we didn’t care for the idea of picking up the keys from the property manager but this was a godsend. There is a gate for both the building and garage and some direction on how to get around the property was much appreciated. The inside of the property is not fancy but very functional. If we go to Southern California next year we will try to rent this property again.

This condo is in an ideal spot in the town of Solana Beach. The views of the Pacific are breathtaking, and the complex is lovely with the pools, tennis and hot tubs. I love the condo itself for size and layout. I will definitely recommend it to friends and family, and hope to stay there again some day. My only minor complaint is that it seemed there was a quick clean before our arrival, and maybe a little more attention to detail (kitchen floor, front steps, bathrooms) would have been nicer. The kitchen has most of the necessities for making simple meals. And Stubbs property management were very helpful with our few questions. Solana is perfectly located to San Diego and all the hiking, shopping, dining and other towns along the coast. It was our first visit in San Diego and having this condo as a home base was perfect! Thank you!!

Property was nice but the unit we were is a as really dates. Most of the dishes had a do on the so we had to wash them. Everything else was fine. Clean and comfortable.

Pros: The views, beach access and surrounding shops & restaurants are the best! The unit had plenty of room for our family of 3 adults and 2 kids with 2 cars. We had a very good getaway! Cons: it’s an older condo, a little drafty. The gas fireplace was our main heat source on cold mornings, romantic but not our familiar central heat! Bring slippers & sweaters. The beds were just ok. The kitchen has plenty of dishes and cookware, although it’s all dated and worn. Tips: we had a hard time finding some things like pillowcases, towels, tall trash can; check the dryer and all closets, not just the logical places! 🤣

Our top floor oceanfront unit had a wonderful view, easy access to the beach, and the grounds at Seascape were very well-kept. The twin mattresses in bedroom #2 could use an upgrade, especially if used by adults. Also note that there is no air conditioning (as stated in the description). It was only an issue for a couple of days, and there was a cool breeze off the ocean every evening. This was our second visit with Stubbs, and we have found them to be great to work with, and will very likely work with them again, especially since we like the Solana Beach area.

The breeze was nice and did not think we need a AC. Easy access to the beach. There was enough pots, pans, dishes and silverware for the family. Many restaurants in the area. Red Tracton's Steakhouse was delicious. The only complaint was the pillows and sheets did not smell fresh and had a smell of a body odor. The towel holder in the bathroom came off, but told the property management right away and told us they will take care of it within the insurance that was paid. But overall, the stay was awesome!!

Fantastic beach vacation!

We loved our stay in this Solana Beach condo. It was right on the water with fabulous views and ocean beaches. Restaurants, shops and live music were an easy walk away. The condo was well appointed and had everything we needed for our stay. June was a great time for us to go. The weather is a little gloomy which we didn't mind since we're from Arizona and get plenty of summer sun here, and the positive of that is that it's not quite peak tourist season, so it wasn't crowded on the beach and we had no trouble getting into restaurants. We enjoyed it so much that we've already booked again for next year.

If you’re looking to increase your daily steps, this is the place! Excellent location with spectacular views and beach. Beach access is via many stairs as well as throughout the property. Quiet complex. Easy access to area attractions. Was missing salt and pepper. That’s it. Would certainly stay again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been staying in different Solana Beach condos annually for the last 15 years. This unit was one of the nicest ever. As usual, the weather was incredible, even though it was the last week of November. Playing on the beach all day, even surfing and swimming without a wetsuit in the afternoons. (We usually visited the hot tub to warm back up after being in the water.)

The view from the condo is incredible. It is also very close to the beach stairs and convenient for going back and forth to the beach. Parking space is close by also. Condo interior was clean and comfortable. The master bed was amazingly comfortable. We slept 9-10 hours straight and woke up with our backs feeling great. The kitchen was functional for basic needs, but if you plan on doing much cooking or baking, bring most of what you need.

A negative on cleanliness was that the glass doors and balcony were very dirty, which kind of spoiled the view when sitting in the living room.

This was roomie and attractive and comfortable. Very quiet except for waves and birds. Private but great location. Superb large bed. Small bed were ok. We stayed 8 days and enjoyed everything about it. And the folks at Stubbs were top notch.

The apartment is overall pretty good, right next to the stairs down to the beach, but they have a major ant problem. The ant traps in the apartment don't seem to do much as they show up in all rooms, including in the bed. The rental office has really nice beach chairs available if you need them. Lots of towels in the apartment, and they give you detergent for a few loads of laundry. Sunset views from the balcony are spectacular, especially once the patio glass is clean (the first day they were pretty dirty, but the rental office's glass cleaning crew showed up the next morning to clean, with advance notice fromt he office). Ultimately, we got the beach trip we wanted, and for that we're grateful!

We will certainly rent this unit again but only if the twin beds are upgraded. They are awful and the springs stick out in places. The view was awesome, watching the surfers on the beach and sunset every evening. Lots of stairs to get to the beach. A plus for us would be to include a couple beach chairs and tennis rackets. The kitchen needs to be stocked better for family cooking. The place could use some updating but the view makes up for it. It was overall clean place. Easy check in and readily assessable to the office if you need anything. Enjoyed playing tennis and courtyard, walkways are beautiful with flowers, ponds and waterfalls. Nice walks around the property. Overall we really enjoyed our stay being able to see and hear the ocean every day since we don’t have this where we are from.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First of all, you can’t beat the location or view! We would stay here again just for the view. We loved opening the sliding doors in the morning and evening and listening to the waves in the ocean. The screen doors were not even on the track when we arrived. My husband managed to put them on the track but they didn’t slide either because of old age or sand.

Towels were provided but there were no wash cloths. For being a beach house, there were no beach chairs or toys which was very disappointing. There was no toaster as advertised but there was a toaster oven. Very limited silverware so we felt like we had to run the dishwasher almost every day. We ran out of hand soap in the kitchen after the second day.

We loved staying here for the location and view but just know before booking that this rental is lacking amenities.

There are 120 steps down to the beach but worth it. Our condo was clean & had everything we needed including washer & dryer & detergent. Some of the decor and furnishings were a little dated but the living area was updated. The place was quiet. The kitchen met all our needs. When we came there were 2 little glitches, one the hair dryer was broken & within 20 minutes they brought me a new one.
