About this apartment rental
This property is a top-floor ocean front unit on the Solana Beach Bluff. The floor plan offers a great room a the front, facing the ocean. Watching the sunsets from the patio/balcony can be breathtaking. Dolphins, whales, surfers, fishing boats, seabirds, and the gently crashing waves themselves can take your mind far away and you'll never want to leave. There is a small barbecue on the patio as well. The Master and Guest Bedrooms are located down a hallway toward the back of the unit. There is an en-suite laundry washer and dryer located along the hallway. The home is frequently enjoyed by the owners and so is well provisioned with all that you would need. Modern Appliances, flat Screen TV's, Free WIFI, COX Cable TV package etc. The home has been recently and tastefully decorated and furnished. The Seascape Sur complex has 2 pools, 2 spas, and 2 Tennis Courts. it also has a clubhouse with a ping pong table and a pool table. The beach is located down a staircase at the northwest corner of the complex down to the beach. Restaurants and cafes and shops are located within walking distance. The San Diego Zoo, Wildlife Center, Balboa Park, Sea World, Legoland, and historic Downtown San Diego are located within a half hour drive. Many Golf Courses are in the vicinity including Torrey Pines and Encinitas Ranch Golf Course. World class beaches and surf spots are located up and down the coast. This is as good a beach location as it gets in Southern California!

Lovely complex wonderful view with staggered private balcony. Parking was close to the front door. Beach was pristine. Could not have been better with every inquiry from us promptly answered. We’ve been up and down California coast this is our overall favorite stay

Southern CA is beautiful and we had an amazing time exploring the area. The rental unit was fine, but dated and overpriced for the amenities and the overall condition of the building. There are better options out there.Starting with the positive -The unit was comfy with nice chairs and an amazing view. We spent many evenings with the windows and doors open watching the sunset and enjoying the cool breeze. The kitchen was decently appointed, and there were beach amenities available. There were some things that detracted from the experience that are easily fixable. Silverware had some rust spots (I get it, the salt air rusts stuff but keep an eye on your metals and replace periodically). The master bed is not really King size. It is 2 separate mattresses together on a king frame. Why not just have a king mattress if you are advertising a king bed? There is no AC… this would have been a major issue in summer but thankfully the weather was cool in April and we did not need AC. However since AC has been standard in most modern buildings for the last 80 years this was another detail that seems off considering the price of this place. The hot water in the master bathroom did not work. This was perplexing but we got by using the hall bathroom. Seems like something the owner would want to keep up with given their rates for this place. The pedestrian gate for beach access did not work with the keys or codes provided. Made for a long walk back around the front of the complex.
