Great Location but needs some attention.

The location is outstanding, walking distance to everything. The apartment is large and in a very cool old building. It is decorated in a colorful and fun way with lots of nature light.

The bed mattress is comfortable but the pillows are horrible. Lots of them but not one that is worth using to sleep. Caution must be taken to not bang your head on the beams next to the bed or the low ceiling at the top of the stairs. A motion detector light comes on half way down the stairs, so you need to inch your way to the first step at the top in the dark. Kitchen lacks some basic equipment for cooking. The apartment was clean overall but a large amount of dust and debris has accumulated under the furniture and should be vacuumed up.

Great location for exploring Honfleur.

Great location in an old part of Honfleur, perfect for exploring this beautiful town. This is our second stay at this house and we would come back. We never met the host Jean-Yves but he provided useful information particularly about parking which saved us over €20 a day. The building is old with spiral staircase and some low headroom if you are 6ft plus. But it is clean and comfortable with a large bed and bedroom, kitchen area with a table and chairs, large lounge area.

As I said we have been here before so we were aware that you cannot park by the property to unload. You have to use the public car parks and walk. The nearest car park is expensive but a good place to stop to unload and then move to a car park slightly further away.

The location was perfect. The suite nice and clean. The sofa/bed was not very comfortable. Appartment very spacious and perfect to stay for 3 days and explore the surroundings of Honfleur.

There was no ventilation for the toilet and that is not so nice.

The beds and sofas were really old and not great. Pillows were all bad. All the inside were in bundles and hard to bundle up to one nice pillow. I felt the real apartment did not live up to the pictures on the web

Gorgeous apartment on lively street

The apartment is in a great location, right at the centre of town, on a pretty street with restaurants, shops and a bar. The apartment itself is absolutely stunning - exposed beams, gorgeous antique furniture, massive windows onto the city - just fantastic. Check-in is very easy with a key code. There is a lovely private courtyard where you can have a BYOB drink (although note it is shared by a few apartments in the building). We couldn’t have been happier with this place, and I would definitely recommend it to others visiting Honfleur. Be aware that it could be loud at night. On the Saturday night in August when we stayed, the bar down the street was going strong (music, shouting, etc) until 1/2am. I thought it was great atmosphere, but it could bother a light sleeper.

The kitchen could use a new set of glasses - we only found one water glass and mismatched wine glasses. It was a small thing though, and not a reason not to stay here!

L'appartement est décoré avec beaucoup de goût et charmant, il très bien situé, très confortable, accessible et sans contrainte horaire. Il est bien équipé, Jean-Yves est disponible.

Le frigo est un mini-bar, nous aurions apprécié 4 dosettes de café (contre 2 seulement pour 2 personnes/2 nuits), une poubelle de recyclage serait la bienvenue (d'autant que nous n'en avons pas trouvé en bas de l'immeuble).

Ολα ήταν πολύ καλά, όπως τα περιμέναμε, εκτός από μία λεπτομέρεια, σημαντική για εμάς: υπήρχαν μόνον δύο πετσέτες σώματος ενώ ήμασταν τρία άτομα και καμμία πετσετα προσώπου. Παρ' όλο που ζητήσαμε τις πετσέτες που θέλαμε (και νομίζω δικαιούμασταν), το μήνυμά μας δεν απαντήθηκε ποτέ, ενώ η υπόλοιπη επικοινωνία μας ήταν άριστη.
