I loved Honfleur for New Year , will definately be back . I would highly recommend those apartments for ease , location

Great location , easy check in , clean apartment , owner very friendly , flat very warm which was welcomed as Honfleur was cold , pretty and Christmassy but cold . Car park nice and close and affordable .

I didn’t dislike anything it was a nice easy stay however the shower head kept slipping down , and just a little more local information in the welcome pack would have been amazing but these are tiny things .

Another excellent property during our stay. Staff and comms very easy, well equipped and very comfortable apartment (we were in The Loft so had opened for a bigger space just for the two of us). The only thing that was a challenge was that there was a glass porthole between the bathroom and the bedroom. Looks like a lovely feature but in the middle of the night when one person goes to the bathroom, the bedroom gets filled with light. Bring an eyemask and it will be fine. Would recommend and Honfleur is stunning so will return to the area and these apartments.

Wonderful location in a beautiful little town.

Location is perfect for exploring Honfleur. Claire met us with the keys and instructions and directed us to the inexpensive parking. Great kitchen with dishwasher. Easy to cook in as there are wonderful fish markets in the town.

It is good enough and we had a pleasant stay

Good place to spend a few days. Good location. The cheap parking is 200m away, very convenient. Contacting staff was easy.

The bathroom is not great, a bit old. It has no locks, and also no windows there. I hit my head on the ceiling when climbing up the stairs, and I’m an average height person. It was very warm at night, and the windows in the rooms are very small, just a velux.

A good base for visiting the tourist attractions of Honfleur.

Excellent location close to the old town. Clean and tidy. Kitchen worked well. Could have had some minimal basics such as salt and pepper, tea bags (much needed on arrival after long journey).

Very narrow, steep spiral staircase which was quite hazardous when carrying luggage up and down. Large box protuberance directly above the toilet. Easy to bang head. No bedside tables. No shelf etc. for toiletries/make up in bathroom. All in all a little sparse.

We had the top floor apartment with a view out towards the sea. The apartment was spacious and well situated for the town.

Not clear where you should park and that there is a driveway that you can pull into unload your luggage then park over near the Ferris wheel for an affordable price. I contacted the property asking for this sort of information prior to arrival but I didn't get very clear responses and ended up carrying luggage from the parking area.

Perfect

Wonderful apartment with everything you need for your stay. There was an air conditioner on when we arrived, which was a blessed relief from the hot weather outside. Excellent location with a short walk to the harbour with food and drink choices. Cheap parking nearby, but there is a courtyard where you can drop off cases before parking up.

Wonderful quaint apartment in beautiful Honfleur, France

My wife and I travelled by bus from Le Havre to Honfleur in France for a 2 night stay in this delightful apartment. It is perfectly located a very short walk from the bus station, and all there is to see in the beautifully picturesque town of Honfleur. The hosts of this apartment, Claire and Lauryane, were very good communicators and they allowed us to check in earlier than usual. Plus Lauryane was on site when we arrived, which was very helpful. This is a quaint older style property that is very comfortable, and definitely an apartment we recommend to travellers visiting Honfleur.

This is not a criticism, however it is worth mentioning . It would have been nice if the hosts had provided the usual supplies for making tea and coffee (in addition to the kettle and coffee making machine). Virtually all the other apartments we have stayed in on our 10 week trip have supplied these for guests, which is always appreciated..

A good flat could be better

Central location with parking a few minutes away. a nice comfortable apartment. I did have a few issues.

One of the bedrooms got wet though after a thunderstorm (roof light left open) and no help was sent or a mop, to mop the water up. I repaired the toilet cistern which would not flush.

A pleasant stay at Gites de Claire

A spacious, clean and airy apartment, perfectly placed for Honfleur centre. There was copious hot water and heating if we needed it. Claire was an attentive host and contactable by phone if anything went wrong (as when we thought we were locked out one evening, but the door was just very stiff!) The neighbourhood was quiet at night and there was very little noise from the ajoining appartments. The apartment was nicely decorated, with some very attractive pieces. And there was ample storage for clothes, including plenty of hangers.

Some aspects of the apartment were a little tired: the sofa bed had a lovely throw over it, but that disguised the covering, which was very badly stained. The kitchen curtain was unfinished, with a raw edged seam. The shower drain emitted an unpleasant odour, which needed attention. Parking could be a bit of a problem, as the carpark only 200 metres away (as advertised on Booking.com) at 6 euros a day is, in fact, 24 euros a day. The 6 euro carpark is a good 5 minutes walk away. You can pull into the drive at the apartment block to load and unload your vehicle, but reversing out into oncoming traffic is quite dangerous. Someone had a prang while we were staying.

Just fabulous-

Such a lovely stay in Honfleur. Les Gîtes de Claire was the perfect location to explore this delightful town. We stayed in the La Rosarie apartment - beautifully clean & well appointed. Having access to the property while we unloaded the car was a real bonus. We had a problem with the kettle & Claire supplied us with a replacement one immediately. Very attentive hosts without being intrusive. Staying 5 days we appreciated the large bedroom, great kitchen dining area & compact TV lounge with a garden view. Perfect for us- it is on the first floor accessed by the stairs at the front of the property. Would love to stay again- highly recommended.

We arrived very late as delayed , host texted with all the info to enter the property We arrived at 23.30 and texted to say we had arrived as requested , they then came to check we were ok. Normandy getaway dogs welcome

The location is absolutely TOP, right in the centre of the lovely city of Hofleur. Parking prices at the recommended spot were very reasonable. It is a ground floor appart. which was excellent for travelling with our dog.

I cannot think of much I did not like. Perhaps the only minor criticism would be that the appartment was quite small, yet the price was right.

All good, Claire was great as all the staff. very friendly and always aimed to please. So great to be near the centre of the town. Accommodation had all you want for your stay. We enjoyed the outside private decking for aperitif.
