Alpe Oberstdorf was a fantastic little hotel right at the base of of the ski resort.

The breakfasts in the morning were amazing- there were plenty of options for adults and our two children.

The stay was really great. The staff went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Loved Oberstdorf

Very comfortable and spacious room, excellent breakfast, very friendly staff. Fabulous location once the new lift is finished.

Its right at the bottom of a ski lift that is being rebuilt and its therefore somewhat of a building site at the moment all around the property. The outside including balcony is in need of some love and attention.

Good

First impressions are not favorable. The exterior of the building is in urgent need of some basic maintenance. Once inside, things improve considerably. Our room was large, very clean, and well appointed. There is a huge south facing balcony, with great views of the main piste. The breakfast is impressive. And the dinner even more so. My praise goes out to the kitchen staff. Everything they make is delicious. The only problem is that the portions (dinner) are decadent. Location: The hotel is steps away from the piste and the main cable car. Skischool, playground for kids, etc at your doorstep.

Very noisy. This older building has poor sound insulation. At the time of our visit, the hotel was packed with young kids. The noise from the room above us and from the stairs was beyond believe. To make things worse, there is also a lot of noise from outside. Snow cannons, pisten bully's, noisy vehicles from the ski school, tourskiers descending late at night (some singing), etc. Our bill wasn't correct. The local tax was counted twice ... This is the sort of thing that leaves a bad taste in your mounth.

Tolle Lage an der Skipiste, freundliches Personal und gutes Essen!

Das Haus liegt direkt an der Skipiste und hat uns recht schnell überzeugt!. Wir haben uns gleich wohlgefühlt und hatten ein großes und gut ausgestattetes Familienzimmer. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es gab ein sehr umfangreiches Frühstücksbuffet bei dem jeder etwas gefunden hat. Abends konnte man nach Voranmeldung im Haus essen , auch hier wurden wir bestens verwöhnt. Wenn möglich kommen wir gerne wieder!

Fantastische Lage, sehr nettes Personal, fairer Preis.

Die Lage ist fürs Skifahren perfekt! Direkt am Lift und an der Piste. Wir hatten die sog. Junior Suite. Die Ausstattung ist einfach aber gut und sauber. Das Frühstück war gut. Das Restaurant ist im Winter an sonnigen Wochenenden natürlich sehr voll aber das Essen ist lecker zu fairen Preisen. Ingesamt auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlenswerte Unterkunft.

Schönes Zimmer, tolle Lage

Ein sehr schönes 55m² großes Familienzimmer mit toller Aussicht unter dem Dach im 2. Stock. Leckeres Frühstück. Zentrale Lage.

Das einchecken war etwas kompliziert. Türen geschlossen, keine Informationsaushänge. Mussten uns in der Nachbargaststätte durchfragen.

Mehr als enttäuschend....

Das Frühstück war ok und das Zimmer sehr geräumig.

Die Fotos im Internet entsprechen leider nicht der Realität und die guten Bewertungen sind nicht nachvollziehbar. Das Drei-Gänge-Menü am Abend ist nicht zu empfehlen, der Service ist nicht sonderlich zuvorkommend (mit Ausnahme einer Dame), das Treppenhaus hat einen stetigen Eigengeruch und die Betten sind extrem durchgelegen, sodass man jeden Morgen mit Rückenschmerzen wach wird. Beanstandungen diesbezüglich werden in Frage gestellt bzw. als Vorwand gesehen. Da der vollständige Preis im Voraus bezahlt werden musste, hatten wir keine Möglichkeit, vorzeitig abzureisen, ohne auf den kompletten Kosten sitzen zu bleiben. Ein Entgegenkommen der Inhaberin zwecks einer für beide Seiten akzeptablen Lösung war nicht umsetzbar. Sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung....

Ein schöner Aufenthalt in einer sehr schönen Gegend mit kleinen Schönheitsfehlern.

Die Lage ist toll. Direkt an der Söllereckbahn und am Alpencoaster. Im Winter ist man direkt an der Skipiste. Frühstück ist sehr schön gewesen und in einem urigen Frühstücksraum. Schöne Holztische und Bänke mit Fell. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und die Kinder konnten sogar ihr eigenes Rührei machen.

Das Familienzimmer an sich ist schön. Es ist schön eingerichtet, allerdings darf an manchen Stellen ausgebessert werden. Im Bad fehlte ein Licht. Am Bett war das Nachtlicht nicht gut in der Wand befestigt. Auf der anderen Seite fehlte es komplett an der Wand. Allerdings gab es dafür einen Ersatz. Die Wände hatten einige Flecken durch erschlagene Schnaken. Dafür gibt es bestimmt auch eine Lösung.
