Very nice hotel in a perfect position to go hiking and exploring the mountains around Oberstdorf

The room was new and comfortable. The spa area is not too big, but it has everything that one might need, from sauna to steam bath, whirlpool and relaxation area.

Nice place to stay in the mountains

Great breakfast. The rooms were done quite well with very unique feeling and with plenty of space including lots of storage space. Superb view from our balcony. Nice place to stay in the mountains if you don't want to stay directly in Oberstdorf town. Very cool bed with the wooden frame and movable TV! Bonus also is the hotel comes with a swimming pool.

We did not get the friendliest vibe from the hotel staff. We had large suitcases and I wasn't expecting no elevators in our building.

Great food and very accommodating staff. I asked to put the F1 on and they were more then happy to help. Lovely facilities with a nice location in the mountains. We were very happy with our stay.

Some members of staff made us feel uncomfortable in a restaurant and reception as being rude with us. Showing to us that foreigners are not welcome if do not know german language. Other staff were great!

Great stay! Especially the wellness area included in price.

The wellness area is better than average: pool is small but kids loved it, outdoor jacuzzi and cold foot bath, and sauna also available for free. Generous breakfast buffet.

We requested an extra bed in the suite (we booked for 3 people) but nothing was set up. The staff person who came to help just gave us bedding and my son slept on the couch. Not sure if they have actual extra beds.

Location is excellent! Breakfast was great. The cleaning ladies always happy to help.

The hotel is inappropriate for disabled people!!!! Its very surprised for a 4 star hotel. I had to carry my son to enter the hotel, go to the swimming pool and playground. Stuff in the breakfast area wouldn’t let me take a yougurt in the room No coffee machine in the room and no natural water. Glasses were plastic . The sofa was very uncomfortable and l was scratching after a night sleep... obviously mits were all over the sofa. I was expecting something more for a 4 star hotel . Too expensive for what it has to offer!

Größe des Zimmers mit 2 Schlaf- und Wohnzimmer. Als auch 2 Bäder war unerwartet, das hatten wir bei der Buchung so nicht gesehen. SPA Bereich ist klein aber fein. Büffet für Frühstück und Abendessen war reichlich und lecker. Die vorgegeben Speisen (Auswahl) der Halbpension waren nicht ganz unser Geschmack, aber trotzdem nicht schlecht.

Die Lage war wunderschön. Das Personal außergewöhnlich freundlich, egal zu welcher Zeit Das Frühstück hatte alles was das Herz begehrt. Das Abendessen war jeden Abend bombastisch. Meine Güte. Ich werde es sehr vermissen

Das Mobiliar im meinem Einzelzimmer war schon älter, allerdings das Bad war neu.

Schöner Wellness Urlaub an einem verlängerten Wochenende.

Zimmer groß und freundlich. Nettes Personal. Drei verschiedene Gebäude welche unterirdisch verbunden sind und man somit auch von dem äußeren Gebäude im Bademantel ins das Hauptgebäude laufen kann. Drei verschiedene Saunen im Wellnessbreich

Kässespätzle in der Lounge waren nicht gut. Etwas zu zügige Mitarbeiter die das Frühstück abräumen obwohl man noch nicht fertig ist. Etwas mehr Sauberkeit im Bad.

Schönes Hotel in wunderschöner Lage nahe Oberstdorf. Frühstück sehr gut, Abendessen ok.

Großes Familienzimmer mit separatem 2. Schlafzimmer. Schöne Lage, sehr ruhig. Tierfreundliche Unterkunft. Es gibt sogar 2 Tische nahe beim Restaurant, wo Gast und Hund gemeinsam Platz finden zum Essen. Alles sehr sauber, Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit.

Menu "Deluxe" war nicht deluxe. Eher durchschnittlich, aber verhältnismäßig teuer. Pool ist sehr klein - wirkt viel größer auf den Fotos. Leider wurde mein Ladekabel, dass ich im Zimmer bei Abreise vergessen hatte, vom Housekeeping kassiert und - trotz mehrfacher Nachfrage - nicht gefunden...

Wir haben ein Familienwochenende mit drei Generationen im Alpenhotel verbracht. Jung und alt haben es sehr genossen. Besonders die großzügigen Zimmer sind Klasse.

Alles in allem eher ein 3,5 Sterne Hotel

Tolle, ruhige Lage. Größe des Zimmers. Gutes Frühstück.

Für ein 4 Sterne Superior hätten wir mehr erwartet. Alles in die Jahre gekommen, Teppichboden und goldene Armaturen mit dunklen Einbaumöbeln war früher sicher sehr hochwertig. Filterkaffee in der Thermoskanne beim Frühstück und beim Abendessen ist auch noch Luft nach oben. Eher ein 3,5 Sterne Hotel. Saunabereich mit 6 Liegen und Durchgangsverkehr die nie frei waren, zum trinken nur Wasser aus der Leitung. Kein Tee, Obst etc. was es in jedem 4 Sterne Hotel ansonsten gibt. Keine Saunatasche im Zimmer. Wir haben durch Zufall erfahren dass unser Zimmer bei Anreise frei war, uns aber gesagt wurde dass großer Abreisetag sei und vor 15 Uhr nicht bezugsfertig ist. Schade, aber auch nicht schlimm.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt bei verlängertem Wochenend-Gruppen-Event

Abendessen war sehr gut, auch ein große Auswahl am Salat-, Vorspeisen- und Nachtischbufett. Allerdings wünschte ich mir, außer dem Salatbufett, die Gänge im Service zu haben. Die permanente Rennerei erzeugt im Speiseraum sehr viel Unruhe. Und für ein so klassifiiertes Hotel wäre das Menü im Service standesgemäßer als in Bufettform. Ein ganz großes Plu müssen wir aber der Reception und dem Personal zusprechen, wo wir immer freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient wurden und auch auf Sonderwünsche während des Aufenthaltes eingegangen wurde.

Das Bufett für Vorspeise, Suppe und Nachspeise und der etwas zu kleine Poolbereich. in der Erwartung, ein Schwimmbecken vorzufinden, mussten wir feststellen, das es mehr ein Planschbecken ist. Wobei der Wellnessbereich als solcher sehr angenehm ist. Also jammern auf hohem Niveau, aber in ****S geht man halt doch mit gewisser Erwartung ;-)

Frühstück ausreichend groß, tolles Bufett. Überhaupt war das Abendessen auch sehr reichhaltig und wunderbar. Die Zimmer super gemütlich gestaltet und sehr freundliche Rezeption. Alles in allem echt super.

Sehr alte Zimmer, es hat im Zimmer gestunken. Alte Teppichböden. Frühstück entspricht nicht 4 Sterne.

Wellness Bereich und Hotel sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Personal ist nicht zuvorkommend. Preis sehr hoch für das Alter des Hotels. Vor allem der Zimmer im Nebengebäude.

Das Hotel verfügt über einen schönen Wellnessbereich. Wir waren nur eine Nacht dort, konnten aber trotzdem ein paar Stunden Wellness genießen. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Wir kommen gerne wieder
