Short stay in Obermaiselstein
The property and the host, Mrs Christa, were welcoming and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the area. The host was happy to talk through suggestions for excursions and help if you needed anything. The breakfast was continental but nice and allowed you to speak to other guests and the host. The village has a regular bus service to Oberstdorf and Fischer (and various smaller villages) which is free with your guest card. The stay was difficult without a hire card but I still got to visit places across the region. Would recommend the accommodation to others looking for a quiet and relaxing stay in the Allgau.

Warm and welcoming guest house
Great value for money. Lovely big balcony. Close to multiple ski areas and a bus stop, although I drove so not entirely sure which ski areas the bus stop goes to. Warmed basement to dry and store ski gear. Fast and free internet.
If I had to pick something it would be that the bathroom was a little outdated. However, I must say that it was immaculately clean, dry and warm... and there were proper glass doors on the shower, no nasty shower curtain. So I will definitely be returning to this guest house.

Sehr nett
alles sehr nett, sauber, schön, ruhig. Christa ist eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin. Das dorf ist sehr gepflegt, beide Restaurants in Laufnähe sind klar empfehlenswert
Die Matratzen müssen mal erneuert werden, in dieser Preisklasse darf man das vielleicht nicht so eng sehen.
