Hostel within the mountains with good landscape

The location is great 👍 I was in shared room but the bed was good and the staff are helpful. You can go to Oberstdorf central station by nearby bus at Reute. Have a premium card from the reception by 5 euro to use it for transportation in the city. The hostel is a good start point for hiking 🥾

No internet in the rooms only in the front office and recreation area. You have to wake up early because of noise by hiking guys. The breakfast need to have more variety

Ich empfehle die Jugendherberge sehr gerne weiter.

Ich war von dem sehr guten Frühstücksangebot (sogar Bio) überrascht und begeistert. Da war gegen Mittag bereits vor Ort und konnte sogar gleich einchecken. Oberstdorf ist zu Fuß in ca. 30 Minuten gut erreichbar.

Für eine Nacht mal okay……keine Alternative zum Hotelzimmer

Lage perfekt, Nähe Bushaltestelle nach Oberstdorf und Kleinwalsertal, tolles Frühstücksangebot

Kein Telefonempfang im Zimmer und in vielen Bereichen der Unterkunft, kein WLAN im Zimmer , morgens im Frühstücksraum kaum einen Platz gefunden (große Gruppen hatten Tische reserviert), sehr laute Hofgeräusche,

Super Unterkunft für Alleinreisende

Die Unterkunft war für eine Jugendherberge einfach super. Einfach ein toller vibe dort, umgeben von Natur. Sehr entgegenkommendes Personal. Außerdem gab es ein besonders gutes Frühstück inkl. Veganer Optionen die über ein Brot mit Marmeladen hinaus gehen. Zum Abendessen gibt es täglich ein Buffet, an einzelnen Tagen gibt es auch dort eine vegane Auswahl. Das Essen ist dort nur Bio!

überwältigend gutes und leckeres Essen! Exzellente Lage!

Dass das komplette Essen zu 100% Bioqualität hatte, fand ich überwältigend. Das ist einmalig unter allen Jugendherbergen. Dazu kommt, dass die Küche das -Frühstücksbuffet reichhaltig ausgestattet hat, z.B. neben Scheibenkäse 3 selbst zubereitete Brotaufstriche anbot (2 habe ich probiert - superlecker!), die Brötchen (u.a. 2 Sorten Vollkorn) waren warm und superlecker, außerdem gab es eine gute Müsli-Auswahl mit Äpfeln u. Orangen als frischem Obst, frisch gebackenen Kuchen - auch superlecker. Für meinen Geschmack (gesund ist mir wichtig) toppt das die 5-Sterne-Hotels, die ich in der Türkeit und Ägypten erlebt habe. Und ich weiß zufällig, wie astronomisch teuer das Bio-Hotel neben im Kleinwalsertal im Vergleich ist. Ich werde wiederkommen.

Im alten Hausflügel, in dem mein Mehrbettzimmer war, gab es nur 1 Waschbecken auf der Männertoilette.
