The location was excellent, very central in the old town and it was spotless clean.

There was no A/C, they gave us a fan that did it job but it was actually really hot and we couldn’t open up the windows because of the noise from the street (and also no net for insects on windows). Our room was on the 2nd floor, and our friends’ on the 3rd floor and there was no stairs - so not accessible. I was emailing with the staff as there is no reception, asking for their help because we had rented a large van (2.10m in height which is very specific) and the parkings around were either for short-term use or underground and wouldn’t fit our van. The staff was actually had 0% customer service as I kept explaining no one spoke English and we don’t speak German, and this is a real issue since on the booking listing they advertise “parking garage” but don’t explain that it’s not free, not directly on-site and wouldn’t fit our van. They did not help me at all, and we ended up spending hours looking for parkings as calling anywhere required German which none of us speak. I also felt blindsided when I realised that they wrote “parking” on their listing and what it actually was. Also, there was no cleaning service, as with a traditional hotel - more like an apartment in 3 days no one came by the room to see if anything needed updating so just keep that in mind.

Great location. Very easy to get to all major attractions. The room is clean and has everything. Pretty quiet during nights which make a good resting place.

It’s on the third floor and no elevator. During the day, there are loud noises due to cleaning and doors opening and closing.

Location . Who was in the heart of old town. Be aware that you have stairs for this property. We were on the third floor, German fourth floor. Wasn’t a problem for us but could be for others. The room/apartment is quite nice!

Trying to find parking was a nightmare. The parking recommended was for the long-term closed due to construction. There should be notice that there is no on the street parking or if there is let us know where. Had to find another parking garage elsewhere in the city after we realized there’s no street parking. Room was clean and newly renovated, nice aesthetics, close to everything.

Key Code did not work upon arrival, came up with an error, had to ring and wait on hold for a long time to get someone to reset code, once the code worked it was extremely hard to open the door, funny door handle we have never seen before. Room was on 3rd floor which we knew about but had to walk up about 6 flights of stairs with heavy luggage to reach our room. It was a loft room which had no air conditioning which was fine so we had to leave window open to get air and being a Saturday night in Bamberg had very loud drunk people yelling in the Plaz below until about 4am in the morning.
