Vollausgestattetes Apartment im Herzen Bambergs

Location can’t be beat, right in the center of Bamberg’s historic area. Very clean apartment close to all the historic sites, the outdoor market, shops, restaurants, and main bus station for easy transition to the train station. Comfortable bed, nicely decorated, and the kitchen is well equipped with space to prepare meals. We recommend this great small apartment to couples for short duration with minimal luggage.

Small downsides that may or may not impact your stay: All of the windows are frosted so you feel closed in as if in a cocoon. There was also 2 work sites in progress during our stay so the workers (all very nice!) had to move their scaffolding so we could get in and out of the ground floor apt. The bedroom is small so the bed is pushed against the wall on one side, and it lacks space to store luggage. Only space available to store bags is in the sitting area because half of the closet is filled with a topper for the futon. A small amount of luggage could be moved to the small separate entry way without blocking entry/exit to apartment, but the entry window is the only window not frosted so luggage is exposed to foot traffic. All in all none of this dampened our visit it just wasn’t as relaxing as we had hoped.

Great stay in Bamberg. A bit tight for families but we didnt mind. Location is close to all amenities.

There was no parking but we found parking within less than a 10 minute walk which was fine for us!

Marcel was always responsive and very helpful over the phone, and he managed to adjust the heating slightly — full marks to him for his support.

We stayed in this apartment from Friday to Sunday with our baby. It is located on the ground floor of an old building that has been modernly renovated, right next to a high school (notice for those who books during the week) First of all, the apartment feels significantly smaller than what the photos suggest. Upon arrival, it gives a somewhat cramped impression, and people who are sensitive to enclosed spaces might even find it a bit claustrophobic. I would estimate the actual size to be closer to 30 m² rather than the advertised 45 m². Another issue was the heating. For some reason, the radiators had already been switched to summer mode, even though it is still April. Being a ground-floor apartment with limited natural light, it tends to feel quite cold. Overall, while the location and Marcel’s assistance were positives, the size and temperature issues made the stay less comfortable than expected.
