Haven Devon Cliffs - Karo Place

Has everything you need and the beds are the best beds we’ve ever slept in So comfy :)

The property was absolutely ideal! We travelled down to spend time with family that live in Exmouth, so location was ideal to use as a base, but we will definitely be booking again and not just to use as a base. The site is absolutely huge, but this caravan is located over to one side (5-10 minute walk to main hub of haven site with pool and arcades, shop etc) and it is so lovely. It’s far enough out so you don’t get disturbed by everyone walking, it really does not feel like you’re on such a large site! And the view from the living room is beautiful to wake up and have a cuppa to- or out on the patio. Really going to miss it when we leave! When we arrived, we were so impressed with how clean the caravan was- it’s also nice to see little plants/signs/figures on the shelves and not just bare- it makes it feel more homely. The caravan itself has a lovely big double room at the back, with then a twin room on one side with a lovely large (by caravan standard) bathroom the other- the shower is lovely and has good pressure which is always a bonus! And the living area is lovely and spacious, plenty of storage space in cupboards for supplies and a small fridge for essentials. The internet is a little hit and Miss, but no one’s fault and to be honest I doubt you’d need it as there is so much to do on site you won’t be in! The only warning I would give is to be careful on the decking and steps in a morning, as the dew can make it slippy- but no harm done- just be aware if you are coming with anyone with reduced mobility or children. The parking is located one row back, with easy access to a path, so you can get wheelchairs to the property easily but there is two small steps up to the decking. One of our party has very reduced mobility and we hadn’t given it a thought, but she managed it fine as the path is a proper path. We have had a really lovely break away and will definitely be booking again. Thank you so much!

The caravan was ok you could see the sea

I didn’t like the noise from the firing ranch from 10 until 4pm every day one night it started at 10pm. Also it would have been nice to have a welcome pack also I think I payed far too much for the stay. If I decide to stay again I wouldn’t book through booking.com people I met payed a lot less then I payed for a week stay they booked through Haven it self

Not a complaint but just a heads up. One sidetable is broken and very unstable. Batteries were dead in 2 remotes. But really just to ket you know, it didn't bother us

Ok the caravan was perfect,the problem was the cost to go into the club house,,haven wanted us to pay £82 for the two of us to go into the club house, charge included swimming but we don't want to swim.Considering we will buy food and drink inside it's a rip off.we only booked a three night stay, ridiculous charge ,for a week stay unbelievable cost, response from reception private ownership are competition.,so sorry for the caravan owner as we will never book here again,I own a caravan on another site a obviously private owners are descriminated against despite the site fees they pay,

Had a lovely 3 night stay,caravan was really lovely,clean,spacious and felt really at home.would definitely book to stay at no 89 Karo place again.

Lovely, so clean and tidy with great facilities. decking area secure for little ones and dogs. nice Sea view. great parking area too. Very good communication with the owner.

Great accommodation, exactly what we required

Couple of chipped glasses in cupboard. The Haven staff weren't helpful and the Internet strength was extremely low

Wi-Fi very bad and a fish smell in one of the bedrooms

great location on a nice site. great beach and lots of food choices. comfortable and plenty of room in the static and nice and quiet at night

I knew I had to bring bed linen and towels but I thought there might have been at least a Brillo pad and some washing up liquid. had to buy everything which ended up being an extra cost. toilet roll, foil, kitchen roll, antiseptic wipes etc

we had our family dog so the beach on-site isn’t dog friendly. but a ten minute drive to exmouth beach the far end is dog friendly an you can park there so we went there.

Good sea view

Very basic. No lamps, no cushions. No homely touches. Just steps which I struggled with due to mobility problems. My dog actually fell from them and tore out a claw. A bit of decking would have been nicer.

Location of the caravan was great. Sea views, 2nd row from the front, ample parking spaces behind the caravan. Spacious comfortable caravan, photos dont do it justice. Nice and clean on arrival, no problems checking in with gate security.

A bedside lamp would have been nice, plus a lamp in the lounge area, although the mood lighting around the back of the fire was a nice touch. It would have been great if there was seating on the patio outside the van, as the weather was nice whilst we were there.

89 Karo Place exeptional would highly recommend

Thought cost of entertainment passes a bit pricy for what you get.
