The caravan had not been cleaned when we arrived at 530 although check in is from 3. We booked late about 4 as an unexpected night away for work. Was messaged informing was been cleaned. Full Bin bags left in the kitchen, washing up still in the sink, beds slept in, dirty bathroom and toilet. Just in General shouldn't have been available to book. They were apologetic and insisted a cleaner would be round shortly. But this never happened, she told us there were clean sheets in one of the bedrooms these too smelt abit musty.. So had to change the beds ourselves. Bearing in mind we'd set off from home 430 in the morning and then done a full day's work in exmouth was the last thing we wanted to be doing. Was offered some money back but not heard anything. Think a full refund is more than fair.

Couldn’t stay in the property, was awful.

Absolutely nothing

The place was full of mould and mildew. They had air fresheners everywhere trying to mask the smell that ran throughout the caravan that was like something like out the 70’s. We couldn’t stay in the property with a young family as it extremely dangerous with the mould and a child with asthma. The host wouldn’t refund us and said we could have cleaned the mould off ourselves!! The host said a cleaner had been in but the cobwebs on the ceiling told another story. Ruined a summer holiday.

DO NOT STAY HERE!

Nothing other than walking away from this awful place.

Do not stay in this place!! The fact that the caravan wasn’t cleaned from previous guests and had mouldy food in the fridge even though I had an approved arrival time, was the least of its problems. This place has damp/mould and smelt of old cigarette smoke. There was what looked like medication in the sink and the oven was filthy. The bed is an old stained mattress that overhangs a bit of foam on top of some ply wood. I did not want my children inside this place. I called the host immediately, who is a very unpleasant and dishonest person. She initially apologised and confirmed both verbally and by text that she would refund – even so far as to lie that she had requested it from booking.com, which of course she hadn’t and is now refusing to approve the refund. My young family are out £350. This place should be condemned, which I have also raised direct with Devon Cliffs Haven. Trust me you can get a smart, clean, newly refurbed cabin direct from Haven for a lot cheaper than this!! Not sure I trust any of the good reviews here so look back further and beware!

Property is located within walking distance of the beach with sea views from the living room area and outside terrace. Great to have a property with three bedrooms although the single beds are small (best for younger children). Good facilities on site with a range of eateries, bars etc.

We didn't feel the price paid matched the quality of the accommodation, but trying to stay on the south coast during a school holiday is always going to be expensive.

It was a lovely placed caravan with a lot of equipment inside, loved the view of a morning when having our morning coffee.

Sadly there was mould in living room behind the sofa, and in the two single bedrooms. Would be interesting to know if the owners have been informed of this issue by the cleaning staff? So presently would not use this facility again until issue is resolved.

Great location on a holiday park. Easy if hilly walk to the in site shop.

Shame that some of the double glazed windows were misted from the inside of the panels. Otherwise good, clean and comfortable.

The view from the caravan was beautiful and the holiday park was good for the children

When we arrived at the caravan, the door was unlocked! The rubbish was still there from the previous people, and as we went through, it was clear it hadn't been cleaned at all in fact; it was filthy! I was staying there with my grandchildren, and if I had somewhere else to stay, I would have left. The pictures are just a part of the filth to be honest.

We paid for two nights but only stayed for one. It was very expensive and lacked facilities. The beds were clean but otherwise it needs a little more attention to detail with the cleaning. I couldnt stay two nights, none of us felt it was clean enough or comfortable enough.

The weather!

Firstly a very dangerous connection on the main lead to the television. Not acceptable. The caravan was dirty. I had to clean before we could use the kitchen equipment. It smelt of stale washing and dog. Very disappointed. Would have gone elsewhere if we could have found something at such short notice.
