The faucet in the kitchen was not working properly, no instructions in English, no shampoo, blinds broken in the bedroom. For 650 dollars it's a shame that was not fixed.

Very nice and quiet location with a great view. The cabin is really cosy and personal thinks which makes you feel "home". Probably one of the best places in Lofoten if you want to be close to and enjoy the nature. Very good starting point to explore Lofoten. It is recommended to have a car (or bicycle).

The only thing missing which is worth mentioning is a good place to access the sea for a cold bath. Might be it is there but we just did not find it....

It was fantastic! Such a beautiful house, located between the rocks next to the shore. Very comfortable and decorated with love. We loved the fireplace and the big windows, and were able to watch the northern lights from the sofa. It’s a perfect place for recreation and to explore Lofoten.

The cabin was very beautiful. The view was very scenic and the surrounding mossy rocks a real treat for the eyes. There were lignonberries and blueberries all around the perimeter and we were able to pick a few.

Das lichtdurchflutete Haus ist Mitten in der Natur gelegen - eine große Fensterfront im Wohnzimmer ermöglicht einen unbeschreiblichen Blick auf Berge, Felsen und Seen. Von der Couch aus konnten wir Regenbogen, Seeadler und Nordlichter bestaunen. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet - es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Besser geht es nicht!

Wohlfühlort mit atemberaubender Aussicht

Einfach traumhaft! Man merkt sofort, dass die Hütte ein Herzensprojekt der Vermieterin ist – alles wirkt liebevoll gestaltet und bis ins Detail durchdacht. Die Lage ist perfekt: versteckt und idyllisch, und trotzdem in der Nähe von allem, was man für einen gelungenen Urlaub braucht. Besonders begeistert hat uns die fantastische Aussicht aus dem Wohnbereich sowie die Möglichkeit, gemütlich auf der Veranda zu sitzen. Die Küchenausstattung ließ keine Wünsche offen, das Bett war herrlich bequem und alles strahlte Wärme und Gemütlichkeit aus. Das absolute Highlight waren die Nordlichter, die wir sowohl draußen auf der Terrasse als auch später vom Sofa aus vor dem knisternden Kamin beobachten konnten. Die Architektur vermittelt das Gefühl, mitten in der Landschaft zu wohnen – einzigartig und unvergesslich. Wir wären liebend gerne länger geblieben und können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Ideal für Paare, welche die Einsamkeit lieben

Wer die absolute Stille und Einsamkeit sucht, wird hier definitiv fündig. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und liegt am Ende einer abgelegenen Zufahrt. Im Inneren ist für alles gesorgt. Auch die Hausinhaber scheinen die Räumlichkeiten gelegentlich zu nutzen, da es mehrere Schränke und auch Fächer im Kühlschrank gibt, welche mit "Privat" beschriftet sind. Bei Ankunft war alles sauber. WLAN ist mehr als ausreichend. Die Kommunikation mit dem Verwalter der Immobilie ist während des Aufenthalts als sehr sehr gut zu beurteilen!

Die Suche nach dem Schlüsselsafe ist trotz Beschreibung erst nach mehrmaliger Umrundung des Hauses erfolgreich gewesen. Um die beiden vorhandenen Haustüren zu verschließen, braucht man Geduld. Anfangs erschließt sich einem das Prinzip nicht. Erst nachdem wir an den inneren Türrahmen bebilderte Anleitungen gefunden haben, war alles klar. Hier wäre eine Beschreibung vorab toll gewesen. Die "Hausmappe" mit Infos zum WLAN, Unternehmungs-Tipps, Anleitungen zum Recycling und Haushaltsgeräten ist leider auf norwegisch verfasst und wurde von uns erst am dritten Tag in einer Ecke liegend gefunden. Das Wasser kommt aus einem 80m tiefen Schacht und besitzt einen geringen Lehmanteil. Man merkt dies beim Händewaschen oder Duschen: Man hat das Gefühl, als wenn man sich die Seife nicht runter waschen kann. Es verbleibt ein schmieriger Film auf der Haut, welcher jedoch nach dem Abtrocknen verschwindet. In der Küche ist eine Filterkartusche eingesetzt. Wie auch schon zuvor von anderen Urlaubern beschrieben: Man hat nicht wirklich Ablagemöglichkeiten, da jeder Schrank, jedes Regal mit diversen Dingen gefüllt ist. Wir haben somit auch die kleinen Schlafzimmer als Ankleidezimmer und Ablage für unsere Sachen benutzt.

Für uns war es perfekt (wir waren zu zweit). Zu viert hätte uns der Platz zum Unterbringen/Auspacken der Koffer/Taschen gefehlt, da alle Kästen belegt waren. Ist aber wirklich nur eine „Minikritik“, die Unterkunft war großartig.

Traumlage und totale Ruhe

Das Haus liegt traumhaft, irgendwo im nirgendwo, mit einem fantastischen Ausblick, auch wenn das Wetter mal nicht so schön ist. Wir hatten das Glück, ein paar Mal Polarlichter zu sehen. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Ein wunderschöner Ort zum entspannen und entschleunigen.

Der Standort der Schlüsselbox ist etwas speziell. Man muss schon sehr aufpassen, dass nichts runterfällt, sonst hat man ein Problem. Es gibt fast keine Möglichkeit, seine Sachen aufzuhängen. Wir waren zu zweit, somit konnte jeder ein kleines Zimmer als "Ankleidezimmer" verwenden. Im Eingangsbereich wäre anstatt dem Wandteppich eine Garderobe sehr sinnvoll.
