RESI STAY Nishijin

The room was great! Very spacious, awesome and unique decor. There was a sitting area and kitchenette and our own free laundry in the room (even detergent was provided). I think it wast the most comfortable place we stayed in during our entire trip. There is a central check-in for the Resi-Stay Inns near the Kyoto train station. It was easy to find, and they offered a free shuttle bus to the hotel. We were also able to store our luggage there since we arrived in Kyoto prior to check-in time. That said, some other hotels we stayed at during our trip provided the door codes to the unit without having to check in at any reception.

The location was a bit far from most places we wanted to visit (except a conveyor belt sushi restaurant!). I feel like we spent a lot of time on buses (or buses to trains) commuting.

A little farther away from town but the buses were right outside so super convenient

Close to transportation, food stores, good neighborhood, not too busy, room has all the essentials

Carpet could use cleaning

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Property was exactly as described. Everything is clean, organized, and efficient. All necessary amenities are provided. We loved everything about our stay!

The bunk beds are on the small side.
