The location is very good, close to Nijo castle and subway station. If I travel to Kyoto in the future again, I will select Yado Tenku or similar location. I liked the bathroom - it is the Japanese type of plastic bathroom, but this one looks a bit more luxurious than others. Everything was very clean and well maintained.
Sometimes I could hear the nearby train a little, but in my case it did not prevent me from sleeping well. Anyway, I do not think that there are many locations in the center of Kyoto that are not close to railway.

Comfy bed, spacious bathroom
Overall it is a good location if you don’t mind taking public transport, but a bit far from the main attraction in walking distance. The zen “garden” is minuscule with not even a chair to sit outside, it looked way bigger on the picture. The room overall is very small with not much space for luggage.

Staff were easily contactable and friendly Bed was comfortable Location is close to the station and large supermarket Could have a microwave in the room
Weak Wifi Very thin walls you can hear everything that's going on , on the street , but I used ear plugs which helped the check in time of 16.00 is that latest I've ever in Japan No change of towels No cutlery in Kitchen or utensils for cooking
