Sunrise Apartment

We absolutely loved our stay in the Sunrise Apartment! First of all, the location was excellent - central in Valletta but not on a busy or noisy street. The apartment itself was very spacious with lots of room for our belongings, and it had everything we needed (like the small fridge, cutlery and cups, hairdryer etc.). We also loved the small enclosed balcony. The private bathroom was separate across the hall which wasn't an issue, and it was very spacious and clean. Very good value for money and a very comfortable stay for a couple! The host was also incredibly helpful and friendly which made our stay even better :)

Some ventilation in the bathroom would be good - in peak summer it was like a sauna!

Location was absolutely fantastic in the heart of Valletta, close to shops, close to beaches, close to a bus stop for other places. It had everything I could’ve needed during my stay, was very clean and I had quite a large and comfortable room with both an AC and a fan which really helped in the hot weather. Jesmond was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions I had. Overall a wonderful stay.

It got a bit noisy during the night because some religious festival was going on, but everything regarding the property itself was fantastic.

Great location. Round the corner from everything. Big room. Plenty of space. Clean. Kettle, hairdryer and iron in room. Jesmond the owner was lovely. There uf you needed anything.

Lots of stairs after walking round all day. Shower was powerful but small jets of water., not sure if it's a fault.

Convenient location. Air conditioning was great.

Initially we were very disappointed. The fridge did not work but the owner agreed to replace it so on the second day we had a lovely little fridge that kept our water cold - essential as we were there during a heatwave, and climbing up to the 4th floor is a killer and you need a cold drink when you make it to the top! All the other reviews regarding lack of soundproofing in the bathroom, having to wash the dishes in the bathroom handbasin, etc, are true. There is no balcony or view, despite the description.
