A great place to stay at a very welcomed and needed price point needed these days.

I’ve stayed at 4 of the Whole Family’s houses in the Sacramento area in the past year. They are excellent and you can’t beat the value. I almost always get a private room, but I have taken a bunk on two occasions and that was much more acceptable than I initially feared. But the private rooms are very comfortable and pleasant. I do highly recommend staying at a Whole Family shared living residence for those that are on a budget. The full kitchens, living rooms and back-yards are something you don’t get at a motel or hotel and the staff is genuinely awesome. I love Whole Family because they make my states affordable and more than comfortable. Some might feel different, but I truly enjoy staying at their homes and I do recommend them highly.

I do wish they had TV’s in at-least the living rooms (I soli should mention that 1 house did have a TV in the living room, the other 3 didn’t). It’s not a deal breaker though as most people do fine watching streamed content on their phones or tablets and the free WiFi & internet connections are highly adequate enough to support multiple users streaming at the same time. I imagine this does help resolve any issue’s with what different guests would choose to watch and encouraged them to use headphones as to not disturb the other guests… so I guess this might be was Whole Family should be doing, it just would be nice on occasion to have something for multiple guests to enjoy watching together in the Living Rooms in my opinion. Like I said, it’s no deal breaker though and might be less headaches overall.

Unsafe, Unprofessional, and Possibly Illegal Activity

Unsafe, Unprofessional, and Possibly Illegal Activity I have stayed at Wolfgram Place in Sacramento before, but after my recent experience, I will never return. The host behaved inappropriately—he was openly watching adult content in the shared kitchen, which made me extremely uncomfortable. Even worse, I discovered that my partner was cheating on me with another guest. When I confronted him, the host—who clearly knew what was happening—immediately called the police and had me removed from the property, while allowing my partner and the other guest to stay. It felt like a setup to push me out so they could continue their affair in the house. What’s even more disturbing is that I strongly suspect the host has hidden cameras in the rooms and is watching guests without their knowledge. Given his behavior, I can’t shake the feeling that he was monitoring private activities, which is an extreme violation of privacy. P s .. This was under our bed when we checked in

Weird, but you will live

i had a single room, it was clean and overall exceeded admittedly low expectations. generally i was pessimistic after having been to a more awful downtown location. this one is better and certainly cleaner. the neighborhood is safer too. if you have a car, get a single room and gave no expectations beyond a place to sleep, you will live.

the plase IS weird, make no mistake about it. i would not go as dar as "creepy", but weird for sure. staff/resident residents hover and seem to generally use it as their house, they have a very polite and sprt of cool kid who nonetheless asks a lot of questions, and some clearly hungry starving refugee from a certain Eastern European country who asks a lot of questions about your food. Does smell of weed/cugarettes, and people take boomboxes to the shower for reasons I thankfully have not had time to determine. I will not go on, you get the picture.

Nice peaceful friendly atmosphere.

The bunk beds were uncomortable and had big divot in it. Difficult to get up and down cause so flimsy. Kitchen was dominated by long term guests so there was little to no room in fridge for anything of my own. Cupboards too.

No breakfast and on your own. Like the Privacy and ability to get away from the noise and confusion in, for example, the city if too many occupants , for example.

Better and stricter discipline to the community Issues have been discussed at length and resolved with Marsha and Roman - the house managers And Rob Responded really well after awhile.

Overcrowded place with disrespectful tenants and their friends toward a new traveler.

Friendly “host” when checked in first day.

The dorm filled with aerosol and the host sprayed air freshener throughout the night due to tenant(s) bad hygiene. Bathroom was messy and smelly. Plus there were 2 gentlemen sleeping on the couch with TV on very loud. I was unable to sleep because people were up until 3 am laughing and making noises in the kitchen 😑. I suppose quiet time 10pm to 6am didn’t apply to those folks. Rules weren’t abiding by people reside in the home...
