Everything exceeded my expectations.

The Apple Room exceeded my expectation. It was tastefully decorated, comfortable and was equiped with extra conveniences to my stay easy and enjoyable. Also, I ate a superb breakfast in the Glass House.

I can't think of anything that I didn't like.

Clean Stay, but Lacking a Personal Touch

We stayed here for one night during our journey to Greenway. Before arrival, we received a long and detailed email with instructions. While the information was clear, it felt impersonal, and there was no one on-site to ask questions. Luckily, we happened to run into a cleaner who was able to help us — and we were very grateful for that. The room itself was clean, but the window in the kitchen was positioned so low that we didn’t feel safe opening it, so we kept everything tightly shut. That wasn’t very comfortable. We were also the only guests at the time, which made the place feel quite deserted. With no staff around to contact, it felt a bit isolating. To make things more difficult, it was a Monday, so finding a place to eat nearby was also a bit of a challenge.

Because there was no staff on-site, the next morning felt a bit strange and disconnected. There was no one to speak to or say goodbye to, which left us with an odd feeling — almost like we weren’t really guests. In the bathroom, the 240V socket didn’t work properly, so the hairdryer didn’t function as it should. It barely got warm and then stopped working altogether. After a while, these small frustrations started to build up, which was a pity. With just a bit more presence or support, the experience could have felt much more welcoming.

Excellent quality accommodation in a very peaceful rural setting. Beautifully comfortable apartment, very quiet and soundproofed, very safe, very clean, lots of facilities, excellent wifi and above all excellent hosts. They were incredibly helpful , kind so we really enjoyed our stay with them, many thanks!

Beautiful location for an overnight while walking the Clarendon Way.

Beautiful location. Debbie was very helpful and friendly when I bumped I to her on arrival.

The headboards! They did not seem to be properly attached to the beds, one was leaning forwards at quite an angle, would not have wanted to sleep under it... And any movement e.g. turning over in bed caused them to crash against the wall. Fortunately there was no room on the other side.

Superb stay… wow!!

this was one of the best places I have stayed on a work trip. it was a little out the way so a few car journeys and the normal delivery services got food we’re not operating because of covid but there was a good food pub 5 minutes drive down the road so that was handy. The bath snd bed were luxurious ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

it wasn’t a little scary as I was on my own and the dark nights made everything a bit scary 😀
