Lovely little balcony. Shower and bathroom were clean. Room with air conditioning. Very nice.

A bit far for someone who use public transport. The buses are not frequent.

Newly renovated/well maintained apartment. Really friendly host. Satisfied with the room and a really nice and spacious bathroom after all the cramped ones we encountered in the rest of italy.

Slightly further away from the center but it was cheap and well maintained. With bus number 7 you can reach the apartment easily (2-3mins walk from the bus stop). However, when we travelled around 6pm on a weekday the bus was crowded and its difficult to stand with your luggage especially because of the hilly road and frequent turns.

Please ignore a previous review of mine as it related to a different accommodation in Milan !! This is re Casa Livio. Very friendly owner/staff. Excellent value for money and can be in COMO in 15 minutes on the N7 bus which stops just up the road opposite the local pizzeria and drops you off virtually outside the block. Clean and comfortable.

Had two cups and saucers but only one plate a couple of forks, had to search for these things etc e,g, knife in kitchen in entrance to make breakfasting easier.

The rooms (and studious) are situated near Como and near IT-CH boarder. It is no problem to get there by car and the parking is provided. The room has a terrace (common for all neighboring rooms) with a table for each room, so that you can have dinner or a glass of wine there in the evening. Surrounding is green with palms and pines. The beds are comfortable. There are a couple of tables to put your things on. Small fridge.

1. The most irritating was a surprise of do-it-yourself online check-in: (i) It is insecure to send a copies of my passport + my face with the passport to 3rd parties because those can be used for similar registration/check-in elsewhere. Although the check-in site says that the passport pictures will be deleted after check-in, there is no way to check this. (ii) by booking a hotel I assume that making check-in formalities is a job of the hotel staff, not my job. Here I had to spend 15 minutes of my time (although the site claimed 3 minutes :-)) filling the forms and making 3 pictures and I didn't get any compensation for the job done (I would appreciate receiving 10EUR back for this alone. Ok, I will just remove 3 stars). (iii) entering a hotel (as the site says) is only possible if you have internet connection. huh? (Hint: take care not to pay for CH-Roaming near the CH-IT boarder) 2. The host (humans) do not answer in Booking.com's chat, only their check-in robot 3. The room + bathroom are small. 3. "Value for money" is not optimal on Italian scale.
