I loved the rose gardens and the lake views! The staff was very nice and friendly. There was a sweet kitty in the garden. The Murano chandelier in the dining room was so pretty! This rustic place made us feel right at home.
The couch was quite old, but otherwise everything was nice.

Property is beautiful, it feels like your in a story book and staff were lovely. The cute cat made it even better
The property is not walkable as you have to walk on a business roads with no pavements

Amazing views of Lake Como from the window. There is a beautiful flowering tree in the garden with a lovely scent that you can even smell from inside the room. Uber is also available for getting to the property.
The property is quite far from the city center, and road is also strange. When we checked out, I couldn’t find a taxi for about 35 minutes. In the end, I asked a staff member to take us to the train station, and thankfully he agreed. I paid him for the ride.

The villa Corti sits atop the hills and offers a nice view of the lake and the surroundings. The building is historic and testifies of its past grand days. Entrance, rooms and the furniture give you the authentic feeling of staying at an Italian Villa, the feeling being further underlined by the big estate around it and the homely atmosphere. Parking is easy in the adjacent courtyard. Big fridge and freezer (shared) were a plus since we’re on a road trip with perishables.
The big drawback for us was the proximity to the motorway which from our impression undermines the beauty of the place and severely impacted our quality of sleep. The estate is less groomed than on the pictures but an early morning walk in park is still worth it! The breakfast is simple but taking it outside in the front courtyard with the view is compensating a lot!
