The classic Tuscany villa, immaculately maintained with a very responsive and pleasant host.

Beautiful home and grounds with historic charm. Giovanni was the perfect host - a cultured Italian gentleman who was instantly responsive to any questions or problems and took obvious pride in keeping the property immaculate.

Idyllic Italian experience

The Antico Borgo Frosini villa consists of two appartments which we booked for ours and friends family. This way the pool and beautiful garden was for us only. I recommend to do it this way as the photographic surroundings was best to be enjoyed with friends and family. The appartments were old Italian countryside way decorated (which added to the idyll) and had also fully equipped kitchen for making food. This was great as sometimes you just want to stay by the villa and enjoy some fine food and wine beside the pool. We visited during an unusual heatwave, but the air conditioning kept the rooms comfortably cool. The host Giovanni was most caring and friendly and could always be counted on if we needed some help. Thank you for that! If anythings a bit unclear, you needed to ask about busses or taxi or you needed some recommendations about the city, don't hesitate to ask him. We didn't speak Italian but Giovanni managed english well. There are things to do in the city of Arrezo, but also the Pratantico village offer occasional festivals and nearby wineyards. Excellent stay and would go again!

For me there wasn't anything to really not like about the villa. In some rooms the wifi connection is a bit poor as the house is made of stone, but that's it. Villa is located a bit of a distance from the city, but the busses run once an hour and taxis cost ~15€ from villa to city. Just remember to buy your bus tickets from the village or the city tabaccherias and stamp them in the bus (check there is a hole in the ticket after) - The fines for free travel are very harsh (40€ per person for the first time and 2000€ per person for the second offence).

Toplocatie waar je heerlijk tot rust komt!

Heerlijke plek met een fijn zwembad. Er is zelfs een wasmachine beschikbaar. De keuken is fijn en zeer compleet. Er zijn overal fijne plekjes om te zitten. We hebben er genoten. Special thanks to Giovanni, die altijd beschikbaar was en ons heeft geholpen toen we onszelf buitengesloten hadden. Fijne man die veel wist over de omgeving, we hebben heerlijk over Ravenna en kunst gekletst. Onze hond Sam werd ook vriendelijk ontvangen en heeft het fijn gehad! Wij komen zeker nog eens terug!
