Comfortable and spacious apartment in a great location

The stairs but that was a minor issue

Relaxing and very comfortable in lovely accommodation - would return!

- Very well appointed with good furnishings and location - loved the coat and boot stand and space to dry our dog

Nothing ! Disappointed in Sykes cottages as the lock to the main house was broken and I reported it immediately and although they responded they done nothing and then closed the incident !!! When we left the lock was still hanging off ! Not a reflection on the property but the property management. Aside from this there was nothing we didn’t like !

Gorgeous flat with great views

Really lovely flat, had everything we needed. Useful to have a parking space on the busy Coniston 14 race weekend. Fantastic location and stunning views. Had some tasty pizza from the Yewdale Inn and curry from Sara's (good veggie options). Only thing to mention - I struggled to get in touch with the owners via Booking.com to extend our stay by 1 night (even the customer service assistants couldn't reach them). Perhaps clearer information around comms might help future guests in similar situation. Would return and recommend to friends.

Stunning home in a great location!

Stunning property located in the centre of Coniston, with great pubs and walking right on the doorstep. Really well equipped and beautifully presented property. We enjoyed walks down to the lake and there are great amenities within walking distance too. The property comes with a dedicated parking space and has been decorated and furnished to a very high standard.

Lack of recycling facilities, washing machine and not been able to check in until 5pm - with check out at 10am you lose most of one of your ‘days’ Damp smelling entrance.

Perfectly situated. Lovely flat, well decorated. Bed in master bedroom comfortable. Kitchen well equipped.

2 single beds were hard and uncomfortable. Guests did not have good nights sleep. Suggest large knife would be useful as only 2 small paring knives available

Amazing stay... cant wait to go back!!

Absolutely stunning appartment. Beautifully furnished with all the amenities that you would need for a self catered appartment. Such a great location, ideal for walks, lots of pubs within walking distance that do great food! Coniston lake it a stones throw away, you can see it from the bed! The views from the appartment are incredible, even more so when they were snow topped! When the cleaners had been, we were left a lovely welcome package with a bottle of prosecco! Already can't wait to go back and stay again!

There was some confusion as to our check in day, so the bed wasn't made when we arrived and the cleaners didnt arrive until the next morning to clean the appartment and make our bed.

Superb

The apartment is located less than a minutes walk from several local pubs and shops making it very convenient. The lake side is approximately 10 minutes on foot. Kitchen was well equipped. Heating easy to use with simple instructions. Very clean and looks recently refurbished with plenty of space for 2 people and a dog leaving the spare room entirely.

Lots of useful communication prior to arrival. Immaculately clean and spacious property. Delightful welcome pack of goodies. Location in the middle of Coniston with fantastic views. Beautifully presented and modern decor throughout.

Although we knew it was on the top floor I personally found the climb up the 3 lots of stairs with cases/bags etc a bit tough. Having said that the accommodation was worth it

Central location in the village. Very clean and roomy. Great views. We even had a Christmas tree.

The apartment was spotless, comfortable and well equipped. It is close to the centre of Coniston, the lake and walks.

Parking might be an issue at busy times. I had to park a little further (not too far) from the apartment but not for long as a space became available.
