Super location for those wishing to explore the countryside with a hot tub to ease your muscles

The location was super as rural with only one other van located in the house/stables grounds. Very well placed for the North Yorkshire Moor walks which are numerous - OS map would be very beneficial. Perhaps visitors are already planning their rambles but for those who are not, much more information on the local area would be a selling feature. Car needed for full potential. A 10/15 minute walk to the coastal path and cinder track only from the road is not accessible from the accommodation. Size of the van was very good. Hot tub was a good size. Needed basic instructions on use. Whole area outside is Astroturf which has its benefits but was very uneven and featureless. Delighted that the hosts were keen to encourage recycling and poo waste from the other caravan. TV/WIFI/Apps was fantastic including Amazon Prime. Very accessible with a short drive to Whitby and Scarborough.

Cleanliness needed a little more attention to detail. Hoover available was full and not suitable for all floor areas and was difficult to use in the carpeted areas. Very nice glasses. Very little by way of cooking equipment, i.e. casserole dishes for microwave, oven proof cookware, no potato peeler which we purchased locally and left. Very little by way of serving dishes. I was well prepared thank goodness. Clearly odds and sods left by others. Perhaps the hosts could obtain a discount from the pub very close by for its residents if they do not want residents to cook? Advertised as a sea view - you can glimpse a sea view over the fencing for the stables from the kitchen door. No sea view from any seats. Some paving slabs near the pathway to the property are broken. They should be concreted in for H&S.

Rancid smell

Booked through booking.com which states no age restriction for children, owner had a moan we brought a child and left wet towels on leaving , paying £420 for 2 nights I don’t expect to be drying towels. Owner was a nightmare she lets her dogs run about the site barking at guests, we had the door open and her dog kept running into the property barking at us. Dog hairs all over bed and sheets. Full of flys and insects cause the stables are opposite. Do not book with these unless you want insect bites and dog hairs on your clothes. Should be shut down
