Lovely location in a village, very quiet, with two good pubs just across the road. Less than 10 minutes drive to south bay, and very handy if heading to Whitby. Plenty of books to read, our double bed was very comfortable. Hot bath on demand, after a long day out, was very welcome. Old house with lots of character.
The kitchenette could do with a proper sink, so you haven't got to wash up in the bathroom sink.

Nestled very close to Scarborough in Scalby, this house is a very comfortable stay, and has the happy extras of plentyful roadside parking and two pubs on your doorstep.
The kitchen has more than expected with an airfryer, microwave, and slow cooker (as well as a hob), and there is instant hot water for your shower. The double bed is very comfortable too.
Some modernisations with lighting may help and some floorboards could lose a squeak, otherwise hardly anything to criticise.

It was a lovely location with loads to do nearby. The cinder track made a good way to visit Scarborough by bike too! The beds were comfortable and you could nearby.
One of the hot plates didn't work and there could have been more cutlery and cooking things for making meals.
