Countryside location with good parking.

Needs to be way more cleaner. Dirty knifes, forks and plates. The blender in the top drawer had not been cleaned. Lots of dust above the fridge, somebody had even wrote clean me with their hand. The toaster had not been cleaned for a long time.The large clock in the wall had obvious ran out of batteries. Says logs for sale and their was not logs. The kindle provided was treated wood full of glue not suitable for burning especially inside. The fireplace was full of ash from previous users. And on arrival the coded key holder doesn’t even work as it’s jammed shut. Lots of poor cleanliness when they have rules up on the wall quoting “Ensure that Cowslip Cottage is left in a clean and tidy condition”.

Lovely, cosy cottage

Comfy beds and very clean kitchen. Easy parking and great location. Friendly pub next door. Lovely and warm with nice hot shower. Plenty of towels.

It was all fine. Had to strip the beds but this didn't take long.

Cosy cottage in idyllic, peaceful setting.

We loved the decoration in the cosy cottage. It was light, spacious and well equipped. Lovely new bathroom. Peaceful setting, with lamas and local birds. Large and Well kept lawn and garden areas.

Only one thing and that was being expected to strip the beds and put the laundry in the bags provided. We felt that as paying guests this was not our job to do this. I appreciate the cleaners approve, so therefore I did it, but we felt this should included in the overall service price.

Perfect

Simply brilliant location, easy access, good parking. There’s a pub pretty much next door, if you like that sort of thing. It was back to basics which is what was needed, ticked all my boxes.

Cottage was warm and cosy with everything you needed and a laundry room with washing machine and dryer

The WiFi router was positioned in the laundry opposite end to Cowslip hence signal was weak and often lost The pub next door only did food one night in the week

Very nice cottage with all you need for a short stay (4-5 days) Very nice garden with barbecues, playgrounds for kids ... and alpagas for the whole family
