The gîte was private, well equipped, very clean. The hosts thought about heating and fans for when it was cold. We had our own verandah , Sun loungers and sun shade. It was very quiet although all gites were rented out. The swimming pool was very clean and plenty of Sun loungers. Pétanque available and bbqs for each gite. The hosts were perfect; they were available when needed but left us to ourselves otherwise.
Fatouville-Grestain is an idyllic place- two restaurants- ‘L’eau Vive’ and one other. So many places easily accessible from there. Honfleur just down road, Deauville and its beautiful beach 1/2 hr away and a lovely, peaceful retreat the ancient abbey of Grestain just down road.
Supermarkets only a few miles away also- Lidl, Aldi, Intermarché and lots of epiceries.
We loved everything about it. It is unspoiled by tourism and ideal for families and couples.

Very clean, quiet location, modern pool. Friendly reception, free parking, well equipped kitchen, nice bathrooms.
Wifi was pretty non-existent

Gite was very small. Sofa bed not comfortable. kitchen area limited. Wanted €300 deposit on arrival which we didn’t know about.
