Fab location, quiet, spacious and dog friendly

Dishes in the cupboard dirty, very strong smell of cigarettes in the living room (we don’t smoke and have a baby), couch was very stained, head rest on couch broken, not the cleanest when we arrived, a few messages to the hosts numbers provided and on chat via booking.com and never received any replies or communication back.

Everything to be honest From booking it with the owner Peter, who was so lovely, extremely helpful and amazingly patient with me being disabled. To the the immaculate apartment every room had nice decor clean and all had frames on the walls with personally hand picked art that made it homely. I’d recommend for sure to anyone

Fabulous location, 5 minutes from station. Close to tram/bus connections. Close to the beach for your pets. Very local to pubs.

We stayed for 10 days, the price was extremely high (£939) considering on arrival the apartment was in need of tlc. As you walk into the property, there are splash marks up the walls (tea stains?) scuff marks in every room, fake tan marks in the bedroom on the wall. The shower head holder was broken and the shower plug was full of hairs from the previous people who stayed. Kitchen utensils thick with grease/old food from previous people not cleaned. Pans had 1cm thick of used oil still there. Sofa covered in cigarette burns along with other stains, head rest on the sofa broken. The blanket which was left behind again had cigarette burns. Blinds that kept breaking easily... Paint peeling in areas around windows and in the corner of the window ledges. Wifi signal appalling...

Property was clean, close to amenities and plenty of room for 6 adults, 2 children and 2 toddlers, all the kids managed to play hide n seek in the apartment. Apartment had everything we needed for our stay

Entrance way stunk. Cigarettes and empty bottles in the entranceway. Stairs were very, very steep. The doorway to the apartment has 4 doors, an entrance bathroom, a living room, and a bedroom. It's about 3 feet square between all doors. Nightmare. Parking attendants on street ticketing everyone. No free parking, sketchy area. Guy was cocky on the phone, he gave the wrong codes, my phone died so then had to wait in the car for phone to charge so he could send the correct code. Nightmare Place stunk and wasn't clean. 1 lamp in the entire apartment. So no good if you have any kids with you as you will have to decide to have no lights or big bright spotlights in the bedroom or living room. Nightmare. Pull out sofa bed was disgusting, sacrificed our bedding so it didn't put our 3 year old at risk. Nightmare. I've had better better sleep in £6 hostels in Colombia and India. Hands down the worst place I've ever stayed. Oh yea, and cost over £200. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Apartment was well equipped and comfortable. Had everything we needed. Tv in lounge and bedroom was a bonus. Was ok for what we wanted, didn’t spend a lot of time there. Sofa and bedroom were comfortable and clean.

Was a bit dated from the photos, so not quite what we were expecting. There was tape on one of the windows and generally scruffy throughout. The entrance to the property had a long wire hanging from the ceiling and was generally in need of a clean up. The shower was very poor, was just a trickle of water and either boiling hot or freezing cold. The apartment just needs some TLC and it would be lovely.

Great location,spacious and the 5year old and 9year old with autism both boys felt at home straight away and loved the apartment so I say thats a win and there was up to date tvs in both rooms shame wifi was quite poor in bedroom and there is a washer which I think was great and its a quiet one

I think it needed a refresh of paint though out for the wow factor

It had all the basic facilities needed…. Functioning shower and kitchen …. Heating was great … fridge was perfect … working washing manchine…. Good lighting … internet was perfect …

This property was not clean …. First seems like anyone hasn’t been in apartment 6 because the smell was awful…, my kids refused to stay in it… left them in the car with my husband and went to go look for a room spray…. Sprayed everywhere, left the windows opened for fresh air before we came in….. the couch is dirty and old , needs and upgrade … I had to brush the floors and mop because it was dusty…. Every corner had dirts, hair strands…. The tv in the rooms needs to be upgraded as well… the stairs leading up to the apartment URGENTLY need cleaning it was a sore sight for me …

Smell of damp on stair carpet on entrance. Really bad smell in kitchen area . Needed a good clean up floors , wall touching up with paint etc .

Everything you need in apartments good location & good value for money. ,& you ideal if you have pet! Suited what we needed with dog. Won't be everyones standard. We will go back . Regards

No number or name on main street door. Difficult to find on first day 😆 lol also couple of small things but didn't want to bother owner just take a video when you arrive as marks on sofa & floor etc . So they know not you .

The only problem was the sofa was many many years old it was dirty and it had a cigarette burn in it and needed replaced

The property had an odour of damp and was looking aged from our previous visit. Fire alarms sounded and thought it was us but it wasnt so put me off cooking. Can be noisey so close windows

Housekeeping REALLY needs attention., we stayed 2 years ago and the same stains are all along the hallway! The shower trap in apartment 4 hadn’t been cleaned in ages ( same as 2 which we stayed in last time ) the duvet was ripped (as I always strip the bed upon check out), kitchen utensils were missing matched and odd, curtain pole hanging off at one side, hallway carpet stained. With better maintenance it could be Amazing! Picky, yes Do we also work in hospitality, yes Would we stay again, it’s very cheap and cheerful in our needed location , so possibly yes

There was no tv no signal as they didn’t put an aerial up until Wednesday a leak from the ceiling in the living room very dangerous and the shower didn’t work which was fixed no battery in the smoke alarm and floor was not cleaned grey hair everywhere and when walk in the main door the carpet was filthy

Unfortunately, the condition of the property was far below the standards advertised and had a direct negative impact on one of our party members with a medical condition. From the moment we arrived, we were hit by an extremely foul smell upon opening the front door. We traced this odor to the bathroom, which has two cubicles, a sink, and a shower. One of the toilet cubicle doors had been bolted shut, and through the gap beneath the door, we could see brown water pooled around the toilet and dirty, brown-stained tissues scattered across the floor. It appeared that the toilet had suffered a serious sewage overflow or backup, which had not been cleaned or repaired prior to our arrival. Additionally, the strong smell in the affected bathroom made it impossible for anyone to use the second shower, limiting the group to a single shower for the duration of the stay. Beyond this, the overall cleanliness was extremely poor: Mattresses were heavily marked and stained. No bedding was provided for guests using the sofa beds. After we requested it, only one duvet was dropped off—far from sufficient. There were dirty marks all over the walls throughout the apartment. Several windows were either jammed shut or wouldn’t close at all, which was a safety and comfort issue. The sofa beds were in a disgusting state—visibly dirty and very worn out. All of these factors combined made for a deeply disappointing and unpleasant experience. We were expecting a clean, functional property as shown in the listing, instead were left with substandard conditions that impacted our comfort, safety, and well-being. Given the severity of these issues—particularly the sanitation hazard and the distress caused to our guest with a medical condition. We also believe it is in the interest of other guests that this property be reviewed for its suitability to remain listed in its current state. We have made a serious complaint to booking.com and will be contacting other relevant authorities.

It is close to where we wanted to be so a great clean comfortable base with everything we needed for a short stay, the correspondence with the owners was absolutely brilliant, it’s a thumbs up from us and we will definitely stay here again, thank you

Location was good, less than 10 minutes walking to the tower.

There was noise from the main road and every now and then really noisy cars racing down the street.
