Our host was there to meet us and show us our rooms. Some nice touches in the rooms, like the multi USB connector block, I've never seen one in a room before but a great idea. On-site parking was useful.

A kettle and tea making facilities were in the hall and worked ok but it might be nice to have a kettle in each room. Maybe there's a reason this can't be done.

We really enjoyed our stay in Locarno. The host was very helpful and very kind. The room had everything we needed - nice and comfortable bed with very smooth bed sheets, little terrace and even an AC for the hot summer evenings. Furthermore the high-tech shower was a cool feature 👍 only the distance from the city centre and the the train station is a little disadvantage, but there are many buses going regularly in all directions from a stop close by.

Friendly owner,very good general location, very easy to get into Locarno, stff climb to the house. Do try the cafe/bar at Piazza Castello nearest to the number 7 bus stop.

Very little to dislike other than the climb up to the house at the end of an exhausting day making the most of our holiday.

The owner was super nice and very helpful. We had the room with the balcony and the view was wonderful. The room was clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable ones we have ever slept on. Definitely recommending the palce :)

lovely room with a balcony, exceptional host!!

The rooms are spacious and clean, my host upgraded me to a nicer room which had a balcony and private bathroom which was very nice! The host also very kindly gave me a lift to the train station at the end of my stay- very kind !!

The room was nice. We even had a balcony. The host was also very nice, we would definitely could again if we're in Locarno. I can only recommend :) The location is also perfect. Very quiet and only 15mn away from Piazza Grande (walk distance).

The owner of the house is such a lovely person. The room was lovely. The bed new and super comfortable (and expensive!). The shower big and new. The balcony lovely. The breakfast served at the room. Quiet. Car parking almost for sure. Fantastic!

Let's say something... The location maybe. The house is 15 minutes walking from the center and in a hill. But this is the reason of the nice and quiet surroundings. And let's say that the breakfast could benefit from a bit of meat or some ceerals (but here I am being really picky).

OK for a short stay, if you have a car, as not near the town centre.

Functional room with tiny bathroom, balcony to sit out on. Easy walk through old streets to nearby restaurants and bars. Parking at the property ( extra charge).

The building needs attention on the outside. The view is not very pleasant, being of large apartment blocks with a tiny glimpse of the lake.

The only minus point I would mention is the shower as the water was leaking out of the shower- I am sure this could be fixed quickly 😊

Gute Lage und absolut schlichte, zweckmäßige Ausstattung.

Toll, dass wir unsere Mountainbikes im Haus verwahren konnten.

Es ist alles wie beschrieben vorhanden, allerdings ist die Unterkunft sehr schlicht und wirklich nur zweckmäßig. Die Silikonfugen in der Dusche gehören erneuert.

Für eine Nacht okay

Parkplätze stehen vor der Tür und sie kosten nur einen kleinen Aufpreis. Das Zimmer war schön gross und es gab einen Balkon. Die Betten waren sehr bequem.

Das Treppenhaus war eine Baustelle und die Dusche könnte sauberer sein. Das Klimagerät war viel zu laut.

Für kurzen Stop OK.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Zimmer in einem Wohnhaus. Alles sehr zweckmäßig, einfach aber sehr sauber. Parkplatz vor der Tür. In die Stadt weniger als 10 Minuten. Lidl auf dem Weg. Für eine Stop auf dem Weg in den Süden kein Problem.

Das Bad ist schlicht gesagt eine Katastrophe. Ein winziges Waschbecken mit einem Brett darüber. Waschen oder Rasieren kaum ohne Kopfstöße möglich. Es wäre schon hilfreich, wenigstens das Brett nach rechts zu versetzen. Die Dusche mit Flattervorhang, der am Körper klebt. Hier sollte man Verbesserungen überlegen.
