Banica Apartments & Rooms

The location is unbeatable, and the hosts are the most warm and generous we met in our 10-day trip. The other wow was the shared terrace balcony and kitchen, which made the brief stay so memorable. Nothing was too much for the two hosts: early check-in, late check-out, recommendations, taxi bookings, even helping us to the taxi point on foot and with our bags. Thank you! We will be back. Even the 4 floor climb is worth it. Unless you have mobility issues, do not think twice before booking this stay. You are 1 min from the coolest old town area.

Only suggestions: The bed/mattress in one of the rooms could have been stronger. And the suite could have had a standing fan, as it is on the top floor, and the AC unit in the bedroom doesn't cool the add-on room.

One of our favourite stays and one we’d definitely come back to. From the room itself, which is so spacious and comfortable (photos don’t do it justice) to the rooftop terrace and lastly the staff who were incredibly helpful and friendly!! Thank you for making our time in Split so wonderful.

The fridge in the room wasn’t working.

Pretty much everything was more than we expected. Or hosts (cousins both named Petar) welcomed us to the apartment and even insisted to carry our luggage to our rooms. The lovely private lounge, sundeck, laundry,kitchen, all vey private and central. A definite must visit.

Location, location, location . Metres from the cathedral. In the centre of everything. Really lovely rooms . Good facilities. Very friendly and helpful host. Highly recommended.

Climbing the 3 flights of stairs to get to my apartment, but my host did all the hard work carrying my suitcase. He went above and beyond.
