location and staff

Although we left the do not disturb sign, we noticed that while we were out the staff have cleaned the room. Because we only received 1 card / room, if somebody remains in the room to sleep without card, it could be unpleasant if the sign for do not disturb is ignored It would be nice to have more variety at the breakfast

Perfect stay for a weekend or stopover

Perfect location, extremely friendly staff, good garage for motorcycles and the best Negroni at the bar. Excellent food. In july, air conditioning in the rooms and having a balcony makes a perfect evening.

Very good

The hotel is big, even though a part of the dining hall was not in use, it didn't feel too empty. The room is large for a solo traveler and the view from the standard room is nice (roadside, mountains and river). Room was clean, staff was nice and the food was very good. There's a restaurant in het hotel. As a solo traveler, I liked that the staff gave me plenty of time to do some reading after I fiinished diner, without eyeballing me on leaving. Would go again if passing through.

There's some neglected maintenance on the overall building itself, and it shows here and there. Could use some love, but nothing too bad.

Hotel Conradi

The rooms have been recently renovated and are well equipped. The staff are helpful and the rules for Covid are strictly followed. Good value for money. Garage is available and the hotel is ideal if on a motorbike tour.

Die Lage ist wirklich klasse. Direkt am Stadttor der Altstadt von Chiavenna. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (klein zu Fuß und groß mit dem Auto) in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Viele Lokale und Shoppingmöglichkeiten entlang der "Hauptstraße" der Altstadt. Zwei Gelaterias, zahlreiche Pizzerien und andere Restaurants, alles fußläufig. Das hauseigene Restaurant ist auch super, sehr leckere Speisen. Preise im Hotel und auch vor der Tür sehr fair. Netter Empfang und Besitzer. Wir konnten schon vor dem Check-In dort parken und die Stadt erkunden. Das Zimmer war äußerst modern, scheinbar frisch renoviert; sehr sauber. Top Badezimmer. Zimmer mit Klimaanlage (die war auch nötig, der zugehörige Balkon liegt in Süd-West-Richtung). Die Zimmer mit Balkon liegen an einer viel befahrenen Straße, bei geschlossen Fenstern ist davon aber nichts mehr zu hören. Bequeme Betten. Die vorhandene Minibar war mit kostenlosem Wasser gefüllt und konnte uns den ein oder anderen Snack für Abends kühl halten. Für italienische Verhältnisse erfreulich viele herzhafte Optionen beim Frühstück: Schinken, Salami, zwei Sorten Käse eine Auswahl an Marmelade, Eier mit eigenem Wasserbad zum selber kochen nach eigenem Gusto. Toastautomat, Brötchen, Croissants, zweierlei Cerealien und natürlich Espresso/Cappuccino/Kaffe (nach Wunsch), Wasser sowie Saft. Personal spricht teilweise (sehr gutes) Deutsch, ansonsten kommt man mit Englisch auch sehr gut weiter. Wenig deutsche Gäste, also kein deutscher Tourihotspot.
