Beautiful hotel in in the hills above Almaty with nice restaurants around. The spa is magnificent also. The view from the room is beautiful.
Mistake in the description of the room booked. No bathtub in the the bathroom (only a shower).

Pool, gym and sauna were very good, breakfast options are limited but met our expectation. close to mountains and weather was quite good. highlight of this stay was waking distance till terenkur lake with walking area, was quite pleasant.
bathroom was little cold and fans are bit old, breakfast a bit limited for this price range. not so many options of shops and restaurants near by.

The hotel tries to be very grand. The public areas have wide, high hallways and lots of huge halls and dining spaces. Rooms and bathroom are large with both shower and bath in bathroom.
The location is a long way from anything. Food was okay but not exceptional. Staff were sullen and not helpful and at times, they were rude. Concierge referred all requests for transport etc to reception and only one member of staff tried to be helpful.
