    We stayed at the Dostyk Hotel, Almaty during our winter family vacation, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. The rooms were spacious, warm, and extremely comfortable, and the washrooms were exceptional—modern, clean, and well‑maintained, which really added to the comfort of our stay. A few practical conveniences made the trip even smoother: - The hotel allows early check‑in and late check‑out (paid), which was very helpful for our travel schedule. - They are flexible about ordering food from outside, and you can comfortably enjoy it in your room. - The hotel also arranged airport pickup and drop at a reasonable price, which made logistics easy in the cold weather. The buffet breakfast was good, with enough variety to start the day well. One area of improvement would be the breakfast closing process. The buffet shuts exactly at 10:00 AM, and it would be great if the staff could inform guests a few minutes beforehand so people can take anything they need before items are removed. Apart from this small suggestion, everything else was smooth and enjoyable. Overall, I would rate the hotel 4.5 out of 5 for its comfort, service, and convenience—definitely a solid choice for families visiting Almaty in winter.
