We had a wonderful stay at Resident Hotel Abay in October 2026. Our room was spacious with nice design. I especially love the color tone and it really feels like home. My mother and brother enjoyed so much at this hotel.
The breakfast buffet has many different kinds of food to choose from including the local food like horse meat (I think) and some local sweets and desserts.
The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. They proactively helped us especially when our cards are not working; the staff showed us the closest atm. Another staff has helped us with the luggages when we arrived and left the hotel. All these small details have left us a very good impression about this hotel and the Kazakh people.
The hotel has been kept very clean and new including the room we stayed, the lift, the toilet at the lobby and the restaurant serving the breakfast. Everything was great during our stay! We surely will come back to this hotel again if we would come to Almaty in the future.

Great hotel , nearby all the amenities. Rooms were spacious and clean . Staff was very kind and supportive . The only improvement I would suggest is to improve Breakfast menu. Rest all were above our expectations. Thanks

We were group of three friends visiting Almaty and exploring nearby tourist attractions. We found the hotel stay very comfortable, staff was very supportive. Will recommend to our friends and family members to have experience of staying in Resident Hotel Abay .
