Isle of Wight Caravan

A well cared for and designed cabin that was a perfect value-for-money base to explore the IoW. Owners obviously took pride in the cabin and were very receptive to communication when required. Should point out that whilst the cabin is located in a holiday park, the bookings are managed directly by the owners and not the holiday park management. The park contained a handy shop for basic supplies, access to washing/drying machine, and a pretty decent fried chicken store. Use of the pools (designed for little children), bar/restaurant and a few other activities required paying extra - but we didn't bother; the money can probably be better spent on other activities on the island. Local beach had a fun mix of traditional English seaside experiences, a few fancy restaurants and a charming pub (Fisherman's Cottage Inn).

It was probably our fault for not reading the small print; but you do need to bring your own bath towels and tea-towels.

Lovely caravan. Good facilities. Nice area and fairly quiet.

Small beds

The homely feel of the caravan throughout from the paintings on walls, the artificial pot plants & other personnel touches gave it a very welcoming feel from home to it. The place were its situated amongst the trees is such a lovely area. Lovely having a good cooker (better than mine at home which is only 3yrs old) plus a good fridge freezer.

There's nothing we didn't like about it. The path way up to caravan was a bit rough as I walk with a stick but otherwise fine.

Location is great , very quiet and peace lower Hyde park

Value for money is not the best specially when you check in at 4pm and check out at 10am , unreliable checking times , pool not available for private bookings caravans so you will have to pay individually to use swimming pools, sea in July still freezing!
