Waking up to mountain view coupled with warm and cozy suit was an unforgetable get away to recharge from daily busy life. Everything from great staff, challet like feel of whole place even lovely dog who welcomes you at lobby made for an amazing winter stay at Baita dei Pini. Thanks for having me as guest.

Charming Hotel, renovated and super close to cable car to Bormio 2000

Location is 3-4 mins walk from cable car to Bormio2000 so can walk with skis if wish or we left ours at the rental shop underneath cable car. Staff were amazing and always attentive. The breakfast and dinner are excellent. Definitely include breakfast as it was superb and very varied in eggs, meats, cheeses, yogurts, fruit and pastrys and cakes. Almost fine dining level. No good for lunch - they do not have kitchen open just snacks. Hotel is recently renovated and rooms lovely though lack iron, coffee/tea facilities but have a fridge. Beds are comfortable but pillows, like many Hotels, are either too soft or too hard but they were plentiful.

It excedeed my expectations

The whole hotel is a brand new condition. The breakfast was amazing. The room has a good heating system with very good size. The location was perfect and the staff very kind.

Bormio is a wonderful place and this hotel is the same.. food was great, staff helpful. Typical mountain views. great stopover before heading up to tackle the mountain passes on motorcycles.. Stelvio is just arround the corner. rooms are fab and the balcony views great.

Lovely hotel, great location

Really enjoyed staying in this hotel. Foremost, all of the staff where extremely friendly and helpful. It has a very welcoming atmosphere, and we loved the decor. The breakfast was great, and the little garden bar was lovely. Superb location too, very near the ski lifts and close to the centre of the old town. Having parking available was a bonus.

Appreciate that we stayed when the temperatures were at their peak, but a fan in the room would have been welcome.

Cosy and enjoyable stay in Bormio

Very nice and cosy hotel in the center of Bormio. We got a family room with mountain view and a nice balcony with flowers. The room was clean and comfortable, a little bit smaller than it looked in pictures but was very nice and with 2 big toilets (much more useful!). Warm welcome and kindness made our stay enjoyable.

Teas and camomile are available only in the hall and are charged. A water boiler in the room would have been a plus in relax, to enjoy a warm drink on the balcony

it was very cold outside at night (-15C), and the heating was on maximum but not enough for us.

Booking guests are treated differently. Not a place for single traveller (like many in Italy).

Good location, between town center and sky lifts. Breakfast was good. Male waiter not really friendly at 0730 am.

The very first day i found an used soap in the shower. The same evening i was denied a table for dinner even being a guest (never happened in my life). I was offered a later time if tables would have been available but i declined the offer.

The room was made of wood, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The view of the valley and mountains from the windows was amazing!!! For the breakfast they served homemade pies and fresh products from the surrounding farms. The staff is professional and always available even during the night. Amazing place, we will come back for sure!!!

Everything about the hotel is above standard, it’s more like a five star than a four star . The rooms and the service are superb

We would have liked a kettle in our rooms for making tea or coffee.
