If you can look for alternatives

Perfect location because we needed something close to home.

Pillows were horrible, too tall too hard impossible to use for sleeping. Bathroom ceiling shows signs of humidity. Breakfast was very poor quality. If you are a tourist on a budget probably best to look elsewhere.

What you pay is what you get

It is next to 2 big supermarkets

Noise: You can hear conversations from other rooms, noise outside the window and every door closing/opening. Bad cleaning: I could see big stains in the sheets and the toilet. I think my incident below explains why Minor incident: i asked if it was possible to checkout at 12:00. They told me it was fine. The day of checkout the stuff came to my door at 11:20 to tell me that I am late and is not possible to checkout at 12:00 as the cleaning stuff works until 11:30(!). They gave me 5 more minutes to leave. Apart from the miscommunication, it’s insane to clean a room in 5 minutes. Either there is no proper cleaning or the hotel lied to me to leave in a hurry. Both are unacceptable.

I did not enjoy my stay and I could not find anywhere else for a last minute stay.

The second me and my family entered the hotel there was a foul smell in the main building. Right after that there was no receptionist at the reception which got us all worried because we had paid for the hotel online before coming. After waiting for an hour and then not answering the phone a guy finally came to serve us. Then when we put our stuff in the rooms we went out straight away and came back just to have our room cards not working. In one room there was someone’s clothes, in another room on the windowsill there was an old milkshake probably expired, and on the bed there were crumbs and the pillows were too hard. We could not sleep bc of the awful smell and the second receptionist was a little rude.

breakfast was very monotonous. for the one week I stayed there, exactly same breakfast that did not have any room for choice. No egg, only cheese and sliced sausage. Horrible. My partner never ate the breakfast throughout our stay.

Not much actually, maybe breakfast (6/10)

No cable tv, nothing but chromecast connection to smart phone (only youtube etc). Besides, It was not clear enough. You might feel like you are allergic to something like bed or linens etc.

Decent value for the money. Suitable for short-term business travel.

The room was spacious enough and the bed was comfortable. Shower worked and there were no distractions.

The breakfast was extremely basic. Just buns with some cheese and liverwurst. I was hoping at least some boiled eggs and perhaps some vegetables. One recommendation: the room is missing a table where computer can be used. Now there is a table, but it is only some 40 cm from the floor. Good enough to put some stuff on it, but not really usable for computer use.

Improve the quality of service, more professional staff. Improve the quality of breakfast . Rooms were to hot especially the bathroom. No window no air access.

Don't feel comfy in this hotel

Dirty room, aisles, stairways, walls. Facilities in bad condition. Seems like there were no floor cleaning under the bed for several months (there was some stuff there as well under the layers of dust). Shower and window handle are faulty as well as a bathroom mirror drawer. Bad smell in the room Breakfast pretty average.

The room was not cleaned at all. There were old bills and an eye drop that was not taken out, even though they came to clean every day. For breakfast, there was no single vegetable or fruit. When I checked in found the fan connection wire was broken, the TV doesn't work or doesn't connect. No Internet connection. The pillow given was like a cat pillow. When I asked to change it staff guy (2nd day, another guy) said no. He was so rude. (On the first day, there was an Afghan boy friendly and tried to help as much as possible).

The window in the room was broken and couldn’t be closed, which meant I could hear planes landing at Brussels Airport and the noise from the road, waking me up at 4 a.m. The room was also very stuffy; the fan didn’t help, and there was no air conditioning. The bathroom was quite dirty, with dust and some trash on the floor. The interior of the room was very basic and definitely did not match the price listed on Booking. As for breakfast, there were no eggs offered; only coffee, croissants, and cereal with milk were available.

Good value for money

It was close to where I had to be. Good value for money. Simple breakfast. Small room but didn't need more. Good bed, shower, toilet. What more do you need?!

The coffee was a bit bitter so I put cocoa powder in it and it was very good.

❗️The receptionist's behavior was very bad. I was a little late in receiving the room, and he began to speak to me in an impolite manner, and he began to tell me about the employer that he does not pay him extra. Despite that, he dealt with me in a very immoral and disrespectful way. The quality of the staff👎🏻

The room was very dirty with awful spots on the walls and chewing gum residues sticking on the floor. The bedding was relatively clean, but extremely soft and uncomfortable. The breakfast was very disappointing

Pleasant

Room was spacious, it also had a refrigerator (an old one but still better than none), there was a dining table, bathroom looked okay. There is Lidl nearby so that's a plus.

The hotel isn't placed in a good place, far from center. Staff didn't know English very well. Chair was very very dirty. There was a foul smell in the bathroom. Door handle to the bathroom fell off, the bathroom was also dirty. The sockets couldn't hold the phone chargers. Old windows that let the noise through.

Decent budget hotel

Decent budget hotel, actually better than average reviews suggests. Room was clean. Breakfast is basic but serves the purpose. There are parking usually places available down the street, the only disatvantage is that parking should be paid on Saturday in that area.

It is an ok hotel for the price. I have stayed in few 4* hotels in Brussels that costed twice, were dirty, old and not much better equiped than Evergreen.
