Location was great to visit all attractions in Etretat. Generous breakfasts. Clean and comfortable room.

Great stay in a historical villa with a welcoming host.

We recieved an upgrade to Villa Eliane. What a beautiful place! We enjoyed the garden and spending the evening in the salon. This is a special place to remember.

Charming Villa

We didn't stay in the accommodation we had booked. Once there, we were directed to a delightful villa on the hill. Indeed it was full of charm and very well appointed. The bathroom was large which was nice. The host Marie was helpful and her English was generally ok. It was an easy flat walk into the town/beach. It was very special staying in such a french villa restored so beautifully.

Nothing as we are fit people. However, there are steep steps to the house additionally we were on the third floor which meant more steps. Again we didn't mind but if you were not expecting this and you had mobility issues it could pose a problem.

Lovely, modern, comfortable room in wood cottage, very friendly host, who can give some useful tips for your stay in Étretat, nice French breakfast!

Everything was super, for me personally some kind of curtain (to separate bath from bedroom) was missing.

Perfectly situated to visit Etretat & delicious breakfast

Marie-Clotilde was a very nice host and served delicious breakfast. That’s something we can’t miss when visiting France of course! The place was very calm and clean. Would definitely recommend! She gave many tips to go out for dinner in Etretat. From the Wood Cottage, the seaside and centre are not more than 10 min walking. You can safely park your car at her home. Thank you for the talks!

Perfect stay with amazing host

Such a lovely host! So friendly and helpful in all ways, we couldn’t have been more grateful for welcoming us into her home. After arriving quite late after a 13 hour drive from the UK, helped us get a booking at a restaurant. The room and shared part of the home is beautiful and good location from the restaurants and cliffs of Etretat.

Very good

The room was on the ground floor. It was cozy, clean and modern. The toilet is also on the ground floor. On the ground floor there is a large living room with panoramic windows, it was very comfortable to work here. The hosts are very welcoming and nice people. Keep in mind that it takes about 15 minutes to walk from the center to the house.

relaxing and comfortable cottage in the centre of Etretat

The host is really friendly. She makes you feel very welcome. She gave us many recommendations for dinner in the evening in Etretat. The room is clean and is exactly what we expected. The bed is very comfortable. The breakfast was tasty, perfect to start the day. We travelled with our 9month old baby which was no problem. Marie-Clothilde set up a baby bed for our little boy.

Séjour trop court nous reviendrons dans cette maison où l’on se sent accueilli choyé et chez soi.

La qualité de l’accueil de notre hôte, le charme, les équipements. La qualité de la literie très douillet et confortable mérite d’être souligné, yc le confort général et l’emplacement de la demeure. Petit déjeuner exceptionnel avec les produits du terroir. Nous avons apprécié le surclassement de la 2e nuit ;-))

Pas loger à l'emplacement prévu comme beaucoup de personnes en commentaire. Le séjour a été déplacé à la villa d'eliane. (Mais rien de grave, c'était très bien)

Un séjour enchanteur au Wood Cottage, entre déco soignée et parfums de croissants

Nous avons passé une nuit très agréable au Wood Cottage. La chambre était joliment décorée et la maison magnifique. Le matin, les deux toiles de l’exposition et l’odeur des croissants au réveil ont vraiment rendu le moment spécial.

Hébergement plein de charme, à 2 pas du centre ville.

A proximité du centre ville (10 mins à pieds), nous avons eu la bonne surprise d'être surclassé. Très bon accueil de Marie-Clotilde dans une demeure pleine de charme au milieu d'un très joli jardin paysagé. Les conseils de notre hôte nous on permis de découvrir de bonnes adresses, merci. Chambre très confortable et très bon petit déjeuner copieux. Parking gratuit sur place, bien pratique. Je recommande.

Les escaliers pour accéder à la demeure peuvent être un frein pour certaines personnes.

Lieben Dank an Marie - wir hatten ein Upgrade in die Villa Elaine, unmittelbar hinter dem gebuchten Cottage. Ein herrliches altes Haus mit hohen Decken und ganz viel Charme. Marie war sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit und bereitet ihren Gästen ein liebevolles Frühstück zu. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen. Man muss nur wissen, dass es vom Parkplatz einige Stufen zum Haus gibt, war für Gäste mit Einschränkungen vielleicht nicht optimal ist.

Estadia maravilhosa e confortável!

Ficamos surpreendidas em receber um upgrade para hospedagem em uma Vila (Villa Eliane) muito bonita, elegante e confortável. A gentileza e disponibilidade da Sra Marie-Clotilde foi um dos pontos altos em nossa chegada. O quarto era confortável, o banheiro grande, tudo bem novo. O café da manhã foi excelente e variado. Muito agradável tomar um chá em ambiente tranquilo após os passeios. A Villa Eliane é proxima do ponto de chegada do onibus e também do centro de Etretat Quando voltar à Etretat ficarei de novo neste endereço.

Schöner Aufenthalt in Etretat

- wir hatten einen Upgrade, eine wunderschöne Villa, es gibt auch einen kostenfreien Parkplatz - alles ist frisch renoviert, bequeme Bett und Kissen, ein riesiges Bad - Frühstück war lecker - die Gastgeber ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit, sie hat uns per WhatsApp wichtige Infos geschickt, und sogar die Empfehlungen für das Abendessen

Falsch Werbung.

Neues Bad und Bett.

Es werden Bilder vom neuen Haus gezeigt und damit geworben. Neues Haus, super Terrasse usw. Dann kommt einige Stunden vor Eintreffen eine SMS, über ein "Upgrade" für eine andere Unterkunft. Man kann nicht mehr umbuchen. Die Unterkunft war nur über 100 m Fußweg und viele Treppen erreichbar. Ein altes Gebäude mit Zimmer im 2. OG über schmale Treppe. Keine Rauchmelder wie beworben und hellhörige Wände. Werbung und Realität stimmen nicht überein.

Een heel fijn verblijf in een hele mooie kamer met heerlijk ontbijt

We hadden enorm veel geluk, want doordat er iets stuk was in de badkamer van het woodhouse kregen we een kamer in Villa Eliane. Het zag er heel mooi uit; authentiek en warm. De gastvrouw was heel prettig en maakte het ons erg naar de zin. In de ochtend was er een super lekker uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet.
