Space and atmosphere: The cottage has an amazing, rustic charm with beautiful exposed wooden beams. There was plenty of space for the whole family. Comfort: The kids immediately noticed and loved how comfortable the beds downstairs were. Amenities: A big plus for a normal, traditional microwave – simple to use, without any complicated oven-combination settings. The Wi-Fi worked flawlessly throughout our stay. Surroundings: Having our own private patio to enjoy absolute peace and quiet was wonderful. At night, it gets completely dark with no streetlights around. It feels like being totally isolated from the world, which is exactly what we were looking for

Starter supplies: One roll of toilet paper for 4 people is definitely not enough ;) There were also no dishwasher tablets provided, so I had to wash all the dishes by hand in a rush right before leaving😆 Cleanliness: I understand it is a countryside property, but there were quite a few cobwebs inside. We also encountered a huge garden spider (cross spider) that absolutely terrified me, as I almost touched it while exploring the cottage! Luckily, it was safely carried outside, and we didn't see any more guests like that during the rest of our stay 😉 Location and access: The nearest shop is a 6-minute drive away, which is fine, but guests should be aware that the local roads are very narrow single-track lanes that require careful driving.

Lovely, quiet location. Accommodation contained what we needed for a short break. Comfy beds and seating in lounge. Milk, Prosecco & local sticky toffee pudding a great welcome.

Info sometimes confusing coming from Skye Cottages. I missed info that towels weren't provided. Owner kindly lent us some.

Deceiving - looks small from the outside but really cosy inside. Loved the split levels
