It was perfect!

Lovely property; it was spotless. It had everything you could possibly need and it was tastefully decorated and comfortable. Pub & shop within walking distance. Tesco express under 10 min drive. The property has a gorgeous view of the fields & sheep. Would definitely stay again.

Sunnydale is one of the best holiday properties I have stayed at. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Very close to the centre of Cartmel village. Within easy reach of shops and restaurants, but in a blissfully quiet and relaxing location.

Very close to road - no pavement - if you have pets / young children to be aware of. Only 1 bathroom between 6 adults was a bit of a struggle but nothing to detract from the quality of the property which has been renovated very well .

Very very minor details and did not impact on our stay at all! An extra toilet would have been nice and with the weather being perfect a bbq would have been great to enjoy the views

A lovely, clean and modern cottage that was well equipped with everything we needed for a weekend stay in Cartmel.

Excellent Christmas stay with family

Visting Cartmel for Christmas with the family. The bungalow was very clean and comfortable. The host had Christmas decorations and a tree up which were a lovely touch. Loved that the kitchen was fully kitted out including salt/pepper/oil/cleaning products. It was a short walk from the centre of Cartmel, about 10 mins from the Priory. Parking enough for 2 cars was a great addition, as there is limited free parking in Cartmel. Overall a really lovely stay, I would highly recommend.

We struggled to control the heating, despite following instructions to the letter, meaning it was always a bit too warm in the bedrooms. There are very few pavements around this area and you have to walk on the roads (which aren't very busy) just something to be aware of if travelling with less able people or with children.

Perfect Lakes Bungalow

The bungalow is a extremely welcoming property, well equipped and comfortable. That extra bit of effort had been put in to make you feel welcome there. It's very well located, with easy access to lake Windermere. Excellent restaurants locally.
