Lovely

Beautiful little cottage with a lovely garden. Perfect for us and our dog. Decorated and finished to a great standard, super comfortable beds and lovely towels to use throughout our stay.

A warm and comfortable base to explore the Lake District.

Had everything we needed. Was warm. Had a great kitchen. The washing machine and dryer were well used after walks in poor conditions.

Short of garbage bags and toilet paper for a 5 day stay.

beautiful cottage with a wonderful garden.

The cottage was beautifully decorated, comfortable with a homely feel. The kitchen well equipped and stocked with everything you need for cooking. The wood burner was a welcome addition for the evening and the garden wonderful, with its views over the girl to the river.

Nothing was wrong, all was perfect in the cottage. The access to the yard is quite concealed so care needs to be taken when pulling out by car.

Beautiful spot, lovely cottage with everything you could want, spacious but cosy

Nothing much but I would say that the exterior picture is a little deceiving as you don’t get the wow factor when you arrive at the rear of the property. The local pub in walking distance is also shut down, it was one of the reasons this cottage was selected. Dogs not allowed upstairs, did not note this so problematic when you have a dog that isn’t used to being locked downstairs. I would still book again

Lovely wood burning stove, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds....

The wood burning stove was wonderful. Really heated up the room fairly soon and was much appreciated after our daily walks in the bracing air. We took some wood as we wanted a fire every afternoon/ evening.

Found the kitchen a bit cold - but we ate in the main room so no problem and once the oven was on to cook supper....

Quiet, relaxing stay in a very comfortable cottage

There were no hosts as it was a cottage, easy to collect the keys.very clean on arrival, good quality equipment, and very spacious. Lovely quiet location and close to quite a few places of interest.

Nothing really to dislike, the bedroom floors sloped a little but that was part of the character of the place.

Locatie: mooie omgeving, prachtige tuin. Erg luxe en modern ingericht huisje. Fraaie badkamers met goede faciliteiten. Prima bedden, maar een beetje kort (1.90 m) voor lange Europeanen. Keuken goed geoutilleerd. Erg prettige communicatie met eigenaar.

Niets. Enige advies zou zijn om een aantal iets langere bedden te plaatsen.
