Fantastic location, easily walkable to all the neighbourhoods, access to restaurants, cafes. Small adequate room, nice little balcony with fridge, kettle and own set of windows, effectively soundproofing room from outside. Watch out when you step ''up'' to the elevated shower cubicle. Need to be clever with charging your devices as sockets are built way up the wall - this is the norm in most European apartment accommodation. Good communication with the host throughout the stay.
Awkward placements of sockets but thats the same with many apartment style accommodation.

We had a very good stay at Lisbon Downtown Inn. The location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from Praça do Comércio, which had a great atmosphere with the World Cup on and made the city feel especially vibrant. It was ideal to be so central and experience Lisbon from a tourist’s perspective. The facilities were perfect and the room was comfortable, and there is an excellent nearby café for breakfast options.

It was beautiful, stunningly cleaned, and incredibly quiet even though the people of Lisbon partied on in the streets below till midnight. The glass in the doors and windows was completely soundproof.
The stairs to the entrance of the rooms can be difficult to manage if you have heavy luggage.

Excellent central location. Very pleasant greeting from the house staff.
Hard to find. Very small sign to the side of a green door. Two steep staircases to gain entry. Quite foreboding. While each room was well equipped it was a rabbit warren of narrow passageways to the room. While quiet because of many internal and external double glazed doors it felt very claustrophobic and a hazard if there was a fire.
