A lovely location and we would book again.

A lovely location and cottage. Well equipped and comfortable accommodation. Dave was friendly and made us feel welcome. We would try to book again when visiting Durham.

If I had to be super fussy, it would be that some of the features didn't suit tall people eg. upstairs bed, basin/mirror in upstairs bathroom. Gound floor bathroom was more than sufficient.

Fabulous short stay at Dairy Cottage

Excellent location, a real home from home! Very cosy and well equipped. Lovely riverside walks into Durham from the cottage. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Easy access to A1 to travel further afield. This is our second holiday at the cottage and we’ll definitely return.

Comfortable, spacious & warm cottage. Ideally situated for a short walk into Durham.

The location was perfect for a leisurely walk into Durham. There is a retail park close by too, which has a fair number of shops, including Tesco & Aldi for any grocery requirements.

Having to come home... ...but have absolutely no hesitation in rebooking, if we were visiting Durham again.

Really lovely holiday cottage

The cottage is amazingly equipped and well set up for self catering. The level of cleanliness is high and the furniture is all pretty comfortable. The location is great, close to Durham but feeling very remote at the same time - although walking along the river to and from Durham would only really be possible in daylight hours and so if you didn't want to drive in, then getting back to the cottage late would be an uber job really. Shops/supermarkets nearby.

It's a shame that there are no real windows you can look out of readily.
