Lovely surprise to have a Christmas tree prosecco and chocolates Had a lovely Christmas dinner with my family had everything I needed Warm and comfortable

Only one point I would make is a light by the front door But it didn't spoil our stay

House was very comfortable and whilst in a housing estate, it was very quiet. Home was beautifully decorated and had all the equipment needed for our short stay whilst visiting our son at University in the city. The garden was safe for our dog and there was plenty of space. Fantastic chip shop at the end of the road, too!

No salt and pepper, seems silly but we missed it

Good location close to park and ride for Durham. Close to supermarket, chip shop.amd an.excellent.pub (the Sportsman). Beds comfortable and a nice bottle of prosecco on arrival.

Living room sofa very uncomfortable. No side tables. No coasters for cups/glasses. Very little useful information in property folder. No large mirror in bathroom. Toilet very inconviently positioned behind the door. Virtually no cleaning products, even bin liners.

On arrival the house had not been cleaned to a satisfactory standard. Dirty oven and kitchen equipment also not clean and displaying mould. Frying pan especially bad and not usuable. Advertised with dishwasher but there wasn't one. Shower had broken bracket so would not hang and hose had kink so delivered scoulding water. On complaining to Toast (I actually sent email the same evening with photographs and telephoned the next morning) they sent someone to rectify and replace the defective kitchen equipment. On showering the next morning water coming through living room cei!ing via light fitting onto dining table. Once again someone came round that day but as the seal on the bath edge had been removed didn't have a shower the next morning as concerned water would come through ceiling again. Had Toast not rectified the problems a would not have stayed the other two nights. I do think we would be entitled to a 50% refund.
