location was perfect for my sons graduatiion, nice touch leaving a bottle of prosecco in the kitchen for arrival but we didnt use it.

garden was rather basic, it had just been cut back and the grass and leaves kept coming in the house, we couldnt really sit in the garden as bushes overtook the patio.. The wc was right behind the door of the bathroom and when you opend the door it banged on the wc.

A lovely house in a fabulous location, so close to the city centre with easy access to it by local buses. A good selection of local amenities at reasonable prices.

Good sized house, lounge felt cosy/homely and was very spacious! Driveway and large garden for your dog to run around in although do note only has a below waist height iron gate so medium/large dogs could scale. Kitchen was well equipped and everything fully functioning.

The shower somehow leaked through into the lounge on our final evening, dripping through the ceiling light. The emergency contact responded via message within minutes and offered to come and reseal the shower that evening or the following morning so couldn’t have been more helpful. We opted for the next day as we were at the end of our stay

No breakfast included. So zero stars on that score. Nearness to Durham city and motorway.

The kitchen utensils were put away dirty so had to wash before using. Sauce pans and oven ware need replacing as the non stick is coming off and can be a health hazard. The beds and duvet covers were clean but the mattresses are lumpy and the throws were marked. The garden needs a good tidy up as bushes etc over grown BUT THE WORST PART IS THERE ARE DEAD RATS IN THE GARDEN. So you could not use the chairs and table {which needed cleaning also}.
