wonderful getaway

Extremely nice and comfortable, gorgeous view, lovely pool, very nice playroom for kids. The food is delicious

the pool is officially not allowed for kids under 16 but there were many kids in the hotel and it was a shame they were not allowed I would recommend to make the pool available to all ages to reflect better the visitors of the hotel

Clean hotel, pretty views and quiet location, however, the staff is not ready to welcome foreigners

The size and comfort of the room was exceptional. Besides the tidiness and cleanliness of all the facilities was wonderful. The view and the location of the hotel was great and quiet. The included buffet breakfast was amazing!

The staff was unable to speak english, french or italian, despite being in Switzerland. Hence, the reception was not good at all. Moreover, we were denied the access to the pool and to the spa facilities although this was one of the reasons to have chosen this hotel. Besides, the service during the paid dinner was poor and rude.

A comfortable, friendly hotel in a beautiful setting.

The hotel is in a beautiful setting, opposite a lake. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. The buffet style breakfast had warm and cold choices and a coffee/tea machine in the dining room. The swimming pool was clean and the whirl pool was warm.

The shower in the room is tiny and uncomfortable to use. The hair dryer was very old and whispered out warm air with no power. The swimming pool got busy very quickly. You have to pay in the dining room for tap water. You had to queue by the coffee machines at breakfast time. There are no towels provided at the pool so you have to use the ones from the rooms which are not refreshed every day, so you have to use wet towels!

‘Functional’ retreat hotel

The hotel is nestled on a hill overlooking the Ägerisee with nice views and terrace. The rooms are spacious, clean & functional.

I think the description does not quite match what it actually is. It is a functional seminar hotel with a religious focus. There are poster and quotes out of the bible on the walls, in the rooms.. this should be mentioned. Further, the gym looks amazing on pictures but only has four endurance machines, no weights etc. The pool, sauna are charged additionally.. I think its facilities are good for seminars, but for holiday travellers, I found the infrastructure somehow lacked warmth.

Wellness oasis is GREAT, clear signs everywhere, everything is super clean and beautiful. Very relaxing. Free, comfy bathrobes. Very nice staff.

Carpet felt a bit worn out. Elevator a bit old and creaky. Most importantly however, the whirlpool was too cold. Facilities in lowest price category were quite rough, no decoration, no shower, low quality toilet paper

Die Lage und Umgebung waren sehr schön

Etwas in die Jahre gekommene sehr schlichte Unterkunft, entsprach nicht den Erwartungen wie bei der Buchung angegeben. Das Personal war nett aber nicht durchgehend kompetent (z.B. beim Frühstück) Wellness-Bereich ok Frühstück jeden Tag gleich ohne größere Variationen und nicht sehr abwechslungsreich. Für 17.50 zu teuer!!

Zimmer 5. Stock old-style. Dank dem Wellness-Center akzeptabel für diesen Preis. Abendessen war gut.

Konnte es nicht geniessen, da dieses erst ab 7:30 möglich ist. Mein Arbeitsbeginn war 7:00. Konnte zumindest Kaffee und Gipfeli in Cafeteria geniessen.

Ausstattung der Zimmer aus den 90er Jahren. Badezimmer mit Linoleum :-/

Séjour agréable dans un bel endroit calme et reposant.

Chambre très spacieuse avec peignoires de bain pour aller au spa. Petit déjeuner varié et très bon. Repas du soir bon aussi. Piscine et jacuzzi magnifiques. Borne de recharge pour voitures électriques. Lits très confortables.

La chambre pourrait être mieux décorée et modernisée. Le repas du soir est beaucoup trop tôt. En vacances, nous aimons aller au restaurant à 20h.
