The Cottage at Weston Lawn is a great get-away to find a peaceful retreat or great culture in Bath.

The Cottage was quiet, clean, bright and cozy. We could relax in "our own space" in a comfortable and cheerful living area. The kitchen was well equipped to make our own meals or get take-away as we pleased. Fiona and William were welcoming and offered help with our questions.

We are from Canada so the electrical/heating systems are very different. We had to get used to turning on switches before using hot water, heaters and appliances. We did have some laughs at our forgetting to turn on switches and wondering why something wasn't working but we got the hang of it after a couple of days.

Lovely stay in Bath

We were in a lovely peaceful cottage so we didn’t have breakfast as it was self catering. The cottage had all the facilities anyone would need & there was a Tesco just down the road in the little village which had everything one would need. There was also a local pub called the The Old Crown which had a very good menu & the staff there were very welcoming & freindly they also catered for a gluton free diet. f Fiona & William were very helpful & freindly & nothing was too much trouble, all in all a very enjoyable stay in a lovely little village not too far from the centre of Bath.

Disappointed

It was clean

The cottage smelt damp. Access to the cottage is incredibly poor and poorly lit. Very steep steps, then a walk across the lawn (no path) navigating through dog/cat waste. Will not stay again. Tried to stay out most of the time. Definitely over priced.

Lovely experience

We stayed in a lovely little traditional cottage situated at the back of the main house. We had the benefit of a private patio area with table and chairs.

Disappointing, depressing and after one night, we called it a day and left!

Apart from the location we didn't like anything!

We booked the site on booking.com and only rang the hotel on the way to establish if there were any cooking facilities to which the owner told us we hadn't booked and shouldn't be staying there. After establishing the fact we had booked we were berated for not phoning in advance even though we hadn't been told to. Then when we arrived we were berated again for not phoning! Over coming this hurdle we then entered the cottage which was supposed to be 4 stars but to be frank it consisted of a misfit of furniture and would rate it as 2 star at best! Poor, damp, freezing cold, a tiny shower and depressing is all I can say!

The owners had facilitated breakfast very well under the Covid rules. Cottage was lovely and a nice walk into town. Whilst on the same site as the owners' house it was detached and very private. Loved it.

Lounge is slightly small. As is shower. But honestly, in the scheme of things its small beer. A lovely place.

Very pleasant stay, comfortable, well organised with friendly hosts. Walking distance into Bath. Parking on the property and shops nearby if needed. Would definitely recommend for couples on a short break to Bath.

Romantic cottage with beautiful surroundings

Preciosa cabaña independiente, comoda y funcional, con cocina equipada, y con un jardin hermoso. Con terraza en el jardin para tomar sol o desayunar. En un barrio muy bello. Muy linda decoracion!!

Poquito lejos del centro (20 min en bus mas caminar 5 min)(pero bella caminata hasta la ciudad de 45 min). No habia closet solo una comoda. Pondria perchas y repisas para mayor comodidad (wall hangers and shelves for clothes).
